This is a really great video. Love how you break down the basic rhythms and give multiple examples of the steps you'll see using those rhythms. Get a handle on this & you've got a pretty solid footwork foundation. I really love your videos. You also have a great style, so very fun to watch. Wish you were local to take in-person lessons with!

Thanks for your videos. This is an actual question, not criticism. My understanding of the slow step in quick quick slow is that it would be the same regardless of dancing On1 or On2. I understand stepping on 1 with the right leg in order to step forward on 2, but wouldn't the slow be as your left leg steps back on 4/5 and your right leg on 8/1? Again, not a criticism, but a doubt on my end. Thank you.
@krambodance33776 жыл бұрын
It's not the same in the movement. The On1 basic has the "slow step" on 7 with the right foot whereas on2 it's the "quick step" with the right foot.

+Ian Ian_Guillen you Need get this pretty Uchida on every salsa Congress they are regular jazz shoes with the classic B&W golf pattern on them. Ask at your local dance shoes store. They should have them.

Instead of going forward with the right foot, use the left one. So, also the direction of the moves will change. If he moves to the right, you need to move to the left and vice versa.

Unfortunately, to fast for beginners. With no explanations. Wery hard to follow your moves
