Going back in my memory almost 20 years ago now my friends and I used to sneak into an Asylum in out state capital (NH State Insane Asylum if anyone wants to look it up). We used goto the fourth floor stairwell leading to the men's wing as the floors there were immaculately clean (no clue why they were clean when there was debris everywhere else). My buddy and I used to bring two sleeping bags and our girlfriends cause yanno scary place and an "oh no you forgot your sleeping bags?" We were clever 😂. Ok no more reminiscing but we had went in there at least a hundred times through high school and we had a lot of stuff happen that we couldn't explain and on more than a dozen occasions my girlfriends eyes would glaze over and she would start talking. For the first few times we thought she was messing with us until one night she asked if who she was talking to was a patient when it was a hospital and the response was a normal tone very clear voice saying "yes until I fell." We were shocked now she had talked to whoever it was for quite awhile and my girl would tell us he wasn't bad a couple times so we weren't "scared" but it still gives me chills talking about it or even writing about it. I wish cameras were as easily accessible back then as some of the heaviest activity I've ever experienced was in that place. Unfortunately it was turned into office buildings so not as easy to get in after hours. I miss that place it had such an amazing feel to it we never felt we were in danger when we were there and I had some of the best times of my high school life there. I actually contribute my love and interest for the paranormal with that place and to this day I still investigate. However, being someone who had these types of traumatic experiences, happen throughout her lifetime and childhood.... I personally disagree. It was much worse during childhood, and my parents were faintly aware of it, it even got to the point where my dogs noticed it, once my cat has started hissing at something, I tried to point out. Chalk it up to what you will, however I believe children just sense these things better, whereas you learn to tune it out eventually, and completely disregard it as you age.
