Regarding the case with Charles and the stranger, I'd find it hard to forgive my family for turning against me. And even if I did, I'd have nothing to do with them going forward.

I've heard the story of Charles and his mother several times and it never seems to amaze me of the circumstances. Like someone was destined to die that night but the intended victim got away. I hope Charles'family have apologized when the actual killer was found. That man went through hell and everyone he cared about turned against him for being a victim

I can't say I was completely surprised when the identity of Sarah Everard's murderer came out, the police in this country - especially the Met - are rotten to the core. There are over 800 of their officers who have active domestic and s*xual violence cases against them - and hundreds of them are still on active duty! There have been plenty in my local policing area who are facing similar allegations, including one of the officers who took me for my recorded interview after I was SA'd. His thing was sending inappropriate texts (to put it politely) to women who had made reports to him, and to this day I'm eternally grateful that they didn't take my phone number down correctly.

People think coming from a heavy surveillance country is a bad thing but it's not too bad at all. I'm from the UK and most the time you forget about cameras being there, you just go about your business. It's good though having lots of CCTV, mainly to help with the amount of crimes that happen

Lol you could have just said you are willing to give up all liberty for safety… oh and then we can ask what’s more dangerous, a local criminal, or people’s own governments. It’s not like over 100 million people were killed by their own government in the just the 20th century… oh wait, they actually did!? Also it leads to things like you can be arrested for posting something the powers that be don’t like online… yeah not an issue though right

Unfortunately, it’s not particularly surprising to me to hear about a cop killing a civilian. Happens all the time over here, it’s just that it rarely makes headlines or gets reported on at all unless the victim is “””””””nice white girl”””””””unless there are tons of witnesses who make a huge outcry about it.

I find the unknown Jane Doe's nickname, "Tent Girl" to be somewhat offensive. I mean, really? It wasn't even a tent, it was a tarp. I would suggest rather, the area their body was found, the road... or maybe something similar to the way in which they pick names for hurricanes?

Do you realize how many John/Jane Does are out there? It’s estimated that there are over 4,000 unidentified bodies found in the US each year. Your plan is simply unrealistic. These names all come about the same way, some random person in the media names them without really putting in too much thought and somehow the name just sticks. The same thing happens with serial killer names. It’s just not feasible to have a system for naming unidentified victims or killers.

I'm not surprised that a cop with a prejudice towards the female gender or a cop that's prejudice towards race, age, gender or a certain group would abuse their power to do such horrible actions. Thinking that nothing will be done about it just because they have a badge. Some cops are a shame to the force, to their badge and a shame to their guns. As for the last one. The ex-husband totally is a hitman who hired Hollister to take out his ex-wife out of revenge for divorcing his ass just because he couldn't stand that after all the abuse he put her through, she got back at him and he couldn't handle it. Cops are useless and evil and so are ex-husbands or any exes out there that are the violent, vengeful type.
