I love how they tell people they have to wait 72 hours to report an adult missing, meanwhile they also say that if someone isn't found in the first 48 hours they're most likely dead. That's real cool 🙄

That first story is crazy! I noticed the way the woman that saw the figure on the side of the road described what she saw sounds exactly like the condition Nick was found in, like her spirit was projecting the image of what he looked like in that moment to someone who would go for help. That one gave me chills! A mother's love knows no bounds ❤❤

Apparently (if it’s the same story) Deborah and her husband had been visiting relatives and in the middle of the night Deborah decided they needed to leave as she felt uneasy. I couldn’t help but wonder if there was an incident involving their car prior to them arriving at their relatives house… maybe their car caused the other car to swerve off the road and it played on her mind. Just a theory.

Omg that is so sick. Travis checking on Kenia, texting her to ask her if she made it home okay to appear like an innocent Good Samaritan, knowing he had already killed her by that point and that she’d consequently never respond. He knew police would check her phone records, she may have had his number saved in her phone, and he texted her that question just to make himself look innocent. Omg. That is so reprehensible and appalling. Seriously.

You should watch his TV interview, which was taken by some news channel just after a few days of Kenya's disappearance. Quite disturbing to say the least. He not only flat out denied about any involvement in her disappearance (which was quite obvious to come from him), but also, he even went on to actually shed some literal crocodile tears while being on the camera during the interview! He is a sick human garbage, and he rightfully deserves to spend the rest of his pathetic life at a corner inside his jail cell.

Odessa case hits extra hard for me. My mom and I had a bad relationship, my mom was extremely depressed and resorted to drinking. She passed at 40 years old on Thanksgiving in 2021. I know her daughter wasn't herself, and suffering, so many of our medical services are absolutely awful, had she gotten help maybe she wouldn't have done this to her mother. still the fact that someone's own DAUGHTER could do this to their own mother just messes with my head. Especially under her circumstances. This is so so sad.

As ugly as the thought is...someone I know thinks that the two people reporting about the spectral woman on the side of the road are the ones responsible for the accident. 😐 They say guilt got the best of them after a few days and they were so adamant for them to check the next day because they knew for a fact someone was down there. They couldn't see the little boy (thus a woman) but didn't get a good look at what the woman driver was wearing (thus no clothes). I think that kind of secret would tear a marriage apart, personally, also, there's a lot of missing info.

There is more to the story about Christine and nick. The reason Mr & Mrs Hoyt was driving on that road late that night is because they were visiting friends in the area and Mrs Hoyt woke up with a strange feeling that she NEEDED to go home, Right Now! Her husband was tired and skeptical of being out on that road that late at night, and the 1st time his wife told him he refused to go. But when Mrs Hoyt could not sleep and could not ignore the nagging feeling that she had to go and go now, for whatever reason he listened to his wife this time and they dressed and left. And from there you heard the rest of the story....

The story about Odessa Carey and her mother is horrifying and sad. The treatment of mental illness is so underfunded and underserved in the United States and around the world. Every single day there is a violent crime involving a mentally ill person ~ and their victim(s) ~ who have been failed by the system in one way or another. When, as a society in general, are we going to learn that properly funding and treating the mentally ill will save lives! Those who are truly mentally ill are also victims in cases like Odessa Carey. She was victimized by the system that failed to recognize that her mental illness needed appropriate treatment and/or possibly a permanent placement in a long-term inpatient psychiatric facility. Too little too late.

The Mental Health system is letting people down every day. These people who are in need of help are placed on a waiting list to be seen. What is the point of that, people need help now not in a few months' time. It all boils down to funding, there are so many people now who suffer from some form of mental illness, who are being told to wait as there are no appointments at this time, and they are being overlooked with dire consequences.
@kendallirvin2671

Regarding Odessa Jr's case: mental health professionals are not allowed to diagnose a mental health disorder that is better explained by a medical condition or substance abuse. This means that as long as a person is misusing substances, a substance induced disorder cannot be ruled out, and therefore a mental health disorder cannot be diagnosed. This is a primary criterion of every mental health diagnosis in the DSM. To ignore it is unethical and can result is revocation of licensure and even prison time. This is probably why she was not diagnosed with schizophrenia or a delusional disorder. Also, mental health and medical professionals cannot involuntarily hold someone unless there is imminent threat to self or others (or, in rare cases, a judge issues a court order or some similar legal authority acts). Imminent threat means there is plan and intention to act on the plan. Imminent also means there is an immediacy to the threat: it can happen right away or there is a chosen date that is soon. If a person has a vague plan to maybe one day harm someone, that is not enough to involuntarily commit them. But it may, depending on the state, rise to the level of Duty to Warn, meaning the target of the harmful thoughts should be notified. In rare cases, if a person's behavior is so disorganized (as in, they are psychotic/out of touch with reality), they may also be involuntarily committed for evaluation and stabilization because they may unintentionally harm themselves or others. Anyway, this is probably why she was not committed for a long period of time. She would have to agree to it, unless there is imminent threat. I hope this information is helpful! Thank you for your hard work creating this channel! It's great.

I reckon the couple in the first story caused the accident and then they went to the police with that bullshit story to explain how they knew the crash was there.

about #1 , the woman from the couple who claim to have seen a naked woman along side the road - both stated they were sleepy and were singing to stay awake.. she didn't see a ghost or whatever , the woman was simply hallucinating from being obviously sleepy... people can and will hallucinate to varying degrees if sleepy enough.

Even still, why would she hallucinate a woman on the side of the road? Of all the things to hallucinate AND at that exact area????

Her husband saw it too though, it's improbable that they hallucinated the same thing

So the mother's spirit was protecting her 3 year old? And did so after the 3 year old spent "4 or 5 days" outside alone? Left to the elements? To survive themselves? Lol okay

@9:08 that NPC had no respect to women actually being abused and tried to use that serious issue to play on potential sympathies from others to weasel out of accountability for murder. Judge a woman's worth by looking for character flaws like that. It's just something unfixable about you too if you can't prioritize those shocking lapses in integrity, over trivial things like looking cute when they laugh at SpongeBob with you or whatever passes for moments in your worthless soulless life. all soulless npcs work the same way because they lack freewill. You can call it a profile or inert nature but it's just enemy ai reacting to what's in front of them.

Im sorry but i dont like the 72 hours law. 3 Days?????? A missing person can die in 3 days. Atleast 2 days. Like, lets be real. If the person missing has a mental issues and those issues are presented to the police they should go and look for thaat person emmidiately. If a Missing person doesnt have mental issues, then call any person the missing person knows and try and find them though the people.

How come so many American kids aren't brought up by their mom or even dad?just fobbed off on other family members!

I was raised by my grandparents My dad is a pedo and my mom is just lazy I guess and don’t work her excuse though is her blood clotting disorder makes it to where she can’t work But I’m happy I was raised by my grandparents cause who knows how I would have ended up if I was in the care of a pedo who also didn’t work and a mom who didn’t work I wouldn’t have had what I needed and would have been abused by my dad (he did it to my older sister before us getting out with our grandparents) and my mom had 8 kids all fathered by my dad so we definitely would have been worse off with our parents so it’s good people give up their kids to family members who are better out Although if u can’t raise kids don’t have them! But my parents obviously wouldn’t use protection and my mom is against abortions and would rather keeps a child and out then through hell than just get an abortion and let the fetus go to peace
