I have an interesting Ouija board story! Me and my group of friends (me+3 people) were hanging out and one of my friends suggested to play with the ouija board he had. We agreed to it and started playing. First few tries were failed. But after 20 mins, the thing started moving by itself. We met a ghost called Lilly, and she claimed she didn't want to make any harm, and she just wanted someone to sing happy birthday to her. So we sang it and then suddenly lights flickered. And then she said goodbye. AND THAT'S HOW WE CELEBRATED A BIRTHDAY OF A GHOST!

I’ve had a Furby back in I believe 2015 and one day it had turned off and I left it alone for a couple of years (probs 4 or so years) and one day it decided to say “put me on Jenson’s (My name) bed to my step sis (Rhianna) and she did, then when I woke up to it mumbling “i seee youuu..” It fricking said after that “push me off, I dare you, your pushing your luck if you push me off..” Then the next day my dad had figured why it was being so fricking creepy, it was distorted and broken, then a few minutes went by and the Furby said “your a demon, Jenson!” and I never told it my name so I threw it out a window and it appeared back in my room under my 1 bunk bed (it’s not a bunk bed it only has 1 bed and a ladder and some wood for support) so I took the batteries out and it apologised for being so creepy and I said to it “I’ll give you 1 chance, if you mess up, your not gonna get another chance, okay?” and the Furby replied “Even if I’m distorted and broken I will try my best not to be so creepy anymore”, so then I finally asked if it knew my name and it said “Yeah, you told me your name in 2016” and then remembered we were friends then so I told it my name and then everything was fine until I had this Roblox Character Toy and 1 minute later after it got out the box, this happened, it said “You have a Furby!? I love Furbys!” And then everything went back to normal and to this day I’m inspired by it! -UglyK0

When my kids were small, my parents bought them the Furby and kept it at their house. My kids, all boys aged 2,4, & 6, didn’t really take an interest to it. My dad was always into the newest electronic stuff and was excited that a toy could learn through conversation & reading to it to develop the English language on its own. (I guess we can say it was an early version of AI!!!). He & my Mom, at first, got enjoyment out of it. However, after a few weeks, my Mother kept hearing strange noises, hissing and screaming intermittently at all hours of the day and night. She was not a superstitious person and had never had a paranormal experience. This really freaked her out. They then figured out it was the Furby and she wanted me to take it home. Just the look of it I didn’t like and my oldest son, who has a sixth sense like me & my father, didn’t want it at all! It must have been the first generation made like the clip stated. She gave it to Goodwill!

My dad was about 20 when he got a ouija board and decided to use the board at a small party with his sister and everyone who has heard of this board should know the rules, but if not here is one of the biggest rules. Always say goodbye before leaving the board. But his sister did not realize this and she got up to leave the game because she got scared. As she went to get up the triangle piece was launched off the board right beside her face, it then lodged point first an inch and a half into the wall behind her. This is honestly one of the worst things that ever happened to my dad and his sister. He is still terrified by ouija boards and he wont even step near them anymore. And my dad is a scary man, he even used to have his own paranormal team with his friends, and they travelled all over the country investigating and experienced many terrifying things. But this was by his words his most chilling and terrifying.

1:28 its called the furby death screech and its due to very low battery. Furbys don't really use all that much power, so it takes a long time for those batteries to die. my best theory for said screech and them just randomly turning on is due to the fact that batteries don't just 'die', they have a residual charge and that furbys don't need much to get em goin. So that furby sittin in yr closet for 7 years probs went off cause the battery had some juice, but they screech cause the system doesn't just 'know' when to stop pulling power from the batteries and theres not wnough for the speaker to work properly. I know theres probs a better way to explain that but its interesting.

I personally didn't have a weird furby experience except for one incident. My niece had one when she was around 6 years old. One day it was sitting on her dresser all motionless. I’ve had some weird experiences with my Furby growing up. My sister had an era 3, generation 1 Furby (“Sprite”), and I had the era 3, generation 1.5 (“Pink Puff”). They’re supposed to wake up when you shake them, and at random times of the day and night it would wake up on its own. At that point we had already shoved them in our closet, all the way in the back, because we were so scared but didn’t want our parents to know we were petrified of our Christmas gifts. To this day, even though the batteries are likely corroded, I’m fearful it’ll turn on again haha.

Once I had a Furby, it would randomly turn on and say things such as princess or you instead of its usual "Me love you". It scared me so I pulled its tail and it went crazy (as in was in would always be angry at you) it would wake up randomly and screamed. I had a furby when I was a kid. Mine freaked out always, would just randomly start talking when it was alone in the room. It never learned English, and constantly would make an angry face. My dad finally thought it was bad batteries, opened the bottom and there were no batteries. My mom was convinced that the thing in between it's eyes was a motion sensor that doubled as a solar battery :/ anywhos, after a few more weeks of it malfunctioning, I came home and it was gone. My dad said he was in the living room and heard the furby talking deeply and then laughing regularly and tossed it out...drove to the landfill and tossed it rather than just tossing it in the outside garbage.

My Furby experience: I was on my way back home from Scotland and I had my 2014 firby with me. I was playing with it in the car and it just suddenly started making weird noises: this freaked me out and I decided I would put it away. We got home and it was my bedtime. My mum tucked me up and said goodnight. It was the middle of the night and I heard strange noises downstairs like screeching. I went downstairs and my furby was there sitting on the couch, screeching like it was possessed. I could remember that I left the furby in my backpack and not on the couch... I got myself some water and went to go and tell my mum, but then, it stopped screeching, I went upstairs and told my mum. She said it was going to be okay and she said I could sleep with her and she would through it away tomorrow. I went back to sleep but woke up at about 5. My mum wasn’t in her bed. I could hear her downstairs doing something, I didn’t know what. I went downstairs and I could see her holding the furby in her hand. She was crying and shivering but she saw me in the corner of her eye, I asked what was wrong and her respond will haunt me till the day I die. “The furby- it was on the bed... flashing its eyes and screaming. “ a shiver went up my spine. We put it outside and went back to bed, but as I was drifting off, I could still hear her whimpering with fear. We threw it out the next day A.S.A.P. My mum was actually happy to throw it out, so was I, but I will always have a little fear of furbys! 😔😣😰 Thanks for reading :) 😊

See? Look how old the Furby™ doll is? It had a valid A.I. that was able to learn patterns and language, even though it was simplistic. We tested this by making a chart of 25 gibberish words to represent English counterparts (eg. floop for pet, sturmfk for friend etc) and it learned the words in its own Furby™voice. Not only that but when set in front of another Furby™, face to face (sensor to sensor) the original doll was able to teach the new doll. Successful through a number of generations. I can't remember how many off the top of my head; at the time those dolls became difficult to find. It was at least 5. I would need to dig out the paperwork. (yes, I'm a complete dork) I can't be the only person that finds this creepy and disturbing. I have a full 68 page report that I have written about this. I should publish it online somehow. The point being; imagine what type of A.I. exists now that the common person does not know about. The fact that robots have now been made that can walk and run on two legs like a human (a very difficult task to accomplish) is very scary to me.
