YES! Ashton is so under-rated in the vocal department. He does a lot of the high falsetto in the album as back up to Luke's highs. Also you should look up their acoustic stuff! Lots more of Ashton there. And I will say it in every comment on 5sos until you react to it.....WATCH THE LIVE FROM THE AUSTRALIA FIRE FIGHT!

I think the main reason why Ash doesn't sing more is because it's hard to sing and play the drums at the same time (By himself on a verse/chorus, but he's fine doing harmonies live). I think he also doubts his vocal ability sometimes but he SHOULDN'T

This is probably my #1 cover they've ever done live aside from their cover of Killer Queen. The harmonies between the four of them are insane, ESPECIALLY when they do something more stripped down like this and Ashton can join in on vocals. Fun Fact (if you can call it that): It took me FOREVER to figure out that it was Luke and Ashton harmonizing on the higher harmonies in a lot of their songs - especially on SGFG. Ashton's range is INSANE. I love when they do acoustic performances and performances like this cause it means we get to hear more of Ashton's voice. It is sometimes hard to pick out Ashton's and Luke's voices separately (at least for me) when they're doing those higher harmonies.

ashton had the biggest vocal glow up in the band he’s said in the early years he didnt really know what he was doing when it came to singing now to see so confident and proud it’s great especially when he sings so effortlessly definitely the most underrated but in the studio version he vocals can sound similarly to lukes so that’s probably why it maybe hard to notice

Ashton actually sings more than it seems but he's usually mistaken for Luke's voice. For example, in Safety Pin the second verse is Ashton singing, or in If These Walls Could Talk the lyrics "if this walls could talk, I dont think ....." it's Ashton too, or the slow bridge in Moving Along ("scared of moving on, but...). My recommendation for you is to search for "Ashton Irwin's solos in 5sos" bc there are a lot of videos made by fans where only appears the parts he sings. He has such an amazing and beautiful voice but ppl dont give him the credit he deserves bc they dont even know its him in the first place lol 😂😂😂😂😂. Another good song is Take What You Want (collab they did with ONE OK ROCK), you can hear Ashton clearly in one verse. So if you wanna know if you missed his vocals (when they do acoustic sets or cover, ashton sings more and a proof of that is Dancing With A Stranger cover),look for those videos. Btw I loved this video!!!!!
