I believe Micha was responsible for the law men ambush in the Blackwater incident before the game. If you ask everyone anout it the others seem to feel like it was a trap. There where too many Pinkerton agents and they seemed to know Dutch was comming. Aparently Micha talked Dutch into that job (according to Arthurs dialogue with Micha in chapter 1).

What really pissed me off, was the fact that I always treat all of the gang with love, even Micah. But at the end, Javier, Bill and the rest of the gang forgets that and side with Dutch and the Micah, even though both Arthur and John were right. Hell they even sided with him when he shot Miss Grimshaw, who was the most loyal of the gang... That right there should have tipped them off, if you know they have not been stupid enough before. Jesus, honestly I am not ashamed that I killed both Javier and Bill in Red Dead Redemption 1, after playing this I was happy I did so. One thing is being loyal, the other thing is being brainless, spineless, follower. At least Charles was smart enough to know that Arthur was the good guy of the situation, I do believe Lenny would have too if he had survived. But honestly glad we get our revenge on him... To bad you can´t kill Dutch at the spot there too. If Dutch had actually some self-esteem and had not lost himself up to his insecurities after Hosea died, all of this could have been prevented. Micah whispered poisoned into his ears, but it was Dutch who gladly drink that poison by the gallons, to the point on turning his own adopted sons, Arthur and John who were always there for him not to mention the most loyal and cooperative persons in the entire gang. Welp, at least Micah is in hell, because aint no redemption possible for that Mofo.

Alex Alex Hosea would have followed both Arthur and John. Unlike Dutch, Hosea can see through a situation and see what’s the best choice. Besides if Hosea survived the Saint Denis mission, then Micah wouldn’t have poisoned Dutch and Dutch would have been kept sane and to look after the gang. Hosea was always Dutch voice of reason, when he was gone is when you see how much of an asshole Dutch can be.

He might not have killed the dog. Dog’s can sense emotion and he arrived at the gang’s arguably highest point in the game, they’ve mostly recovered from blackwater. By the time they get to beaver hollow the gang is almost completely destroyed. So cain probably left to symbolize the end of the gang.

Anyone else thought that Micah was working with the O'driscol gang. Like it was too convenient that they stumbled on Arthur's scope position when Dutch met with Colm. The problem with the scarlet meadows train robbery is that Micah is in jail in Strawberry and incommunicado with the rest of the gang at that time. I've been thinking about that article too, but the real mystery is who tipped them off...because it wasn't Micah. The idea was John's, but everyone else in the gang presumably knew about it (specifically NOT Micah though...which heightens the mystery).

I knew from the very beginning that Micah wasn't what he claims to be. In classic westerns, good guys wear white hats and bad guys wore black hats. In the game, Micah is the only one who wears a white hat, while the others wear black or very dark colours, indicating he's not one of them.

I think Micah set up Arthur and Dutch, especially Arthur, with the O’Driscoll’s. He knew where the O’Driscoll’s were, talked to Colm about grabbing Arthur as a trap to get Dutch and the rest of the gang for the Pinkertons then Micah and the O’Driscoll’s could go back to Blackwater and get the money. Micah was not at the camp when Arthur made it back.

There were alot more indications micah had betrayed the gang multiple times. There was a mission, cant remember what it was, Arthur mentioned Micah planning the Blackwater job. Arthur wanted to do a different job with Hosea instead, but micah talked Dutch into doing the Blackwater job instead. Also in the cutscenes of Chapter 1 at the very beginning of the game, he made a several racist comments with half the gang present every time. Arthur made it clear he liked Javier, Lenny, and Charles. I quickly noticed Micah and Arthur berate each other over their differences. Before I even finished the game first time, I had suspected Micah or Bill of betraying the gang. The first interaction of John and Bill in RDR made me suspect Bill in that retrospect, what Bill said in that conversation put him on that list as a possible. As the game progressed, i noticed the little signs in the missions pointing more toward Micah. By the beginning of chapter 6, I was positive it was Micah.
