I remember feeling really proud of Kieran when the Pinkertons show up in camp. After all of the crap that he got, especially from Arthur in camp dialogs, he pulls his revolver out of his holster in defiance of the Pinkertons and stands with the rest of the gang. I saw this as a big turning point for him, to officially be a full fledged member of the gang. That's what makes what happens later extra shocking and horrible...

Honestly I agree, I also wish he wasn't killed off and would be in the epilogue and have a little tent on beacher's hope. I say tent because it doesn't make sence for how the place looked in RDR1 I feel like Keiran would just pack up his tent and go somewhere inbetween the epilogue of RDR2 and RDR1. Or maybe he would have been arrested with John's family in 1911 and probably died in a prison riot.

I don't think it's any mistake that as soon as Micah joins the gang then they're plans are always known in advance. Even in Blackwater they thought that the Pinkertons knew about the river boat heist in advance. They don't seem to have had this issue until Micah joined. I figured he's been trying to screw them over and maybe get that big Blackwater haul for himself since day one.

funny thing is, arthur even pointed out the fact that at the bank job where Hosea got killed, that they knew the gang was coming just like micah's blackwater plan. Micah I think gave them information even before guarma. He just might have actually approached Milton after Guarma and maybe gave the plans away anonymously before so he can get the money all for himself.

The biggest red flag that jumped out at me was the Saint Denis job where the gang gets ambushed by the Pinkertons. Dutch makes everyone dress in nice clothing so they don't look like outlaws when coming into the city. Everyone except Micah is wearing a black suit, which makes Micah's white suit stick out like a sore thumb. My immediate thought is that he tipped them off and told them he would be wearing white so that they wouldn't shoot him in the chaos.

Dutch met Micah in a bar, the perfect place for a plant, was swayed into going after a huge heist that was too public. During the flight through the mountains, Micah knocks over a lantern, burning Sadie's cabin down, but making a very big signal fire. The massacre in Strawberry, the coach robbery nearby, lighting the proverbial beacons. Jack getting kidnapped, the Pinkertons getting into camp when who was on lookout, the bank heist going south. Every mission had Micah playing the Gang into leaving so much carnage, the Pinkertons had an easier time finding the Gang than Cornwall.

I think Micah was a rat the whole time one way or another. He was real adamant about getting Dutch to do the ferry job and that ended up being a setup. Roads ended up being a setup, the meet up with colm, and any job he's involved in manages to bring an extreme degree of attention towards the gang. Like strawberry. Pinkerton's didn't know where they were and then Micah shoots up the town. Even if he wasn't working with the pinkertons at the beginning he was still constantly doing things to sabotage the Gang.

It is possible though you can kill the Pinkertons there if you want(depends on the player). But Bill did say he got there via word of mouth from others so it’s possible someone else found the letter before Arthur did.

@MrBossFTW I suspect that Mica has been planted by Pinkertons from the very beginning and the 'Blackwater massacre' is Mica's fault because he already worked for Pinkertons. Do you remember the last fight between him and Arthur? Mica said something that he doing everything to survive. He - Mica is a survivor. I think Pinkertons got Mica before everything and offered the deal: Mica gets into Duch gang, earns trust and be the rat. For doing this Mica's previous crimes will be forgotten or something along these lines. 'The Blackwater massacre' could be just the first attempt by Pinkerton's to use Mica and to get the Duch and his gang.

Aside from the Pinkerton's but what I found interesting was after the gambling heist on that boat when the gang moves to Shady Bell. After that heist I did little missions and I took a stop at the smaller bar in Saint Denis. There was a npc that talks to Arthur and tells him about how he saw a big camp at Shady Bell. I thought that was so weird to know that a random npc would find out about the camp even though Arthur tells Dutch that it's well hidden. 😅

This is what I think, Micah been working for the Pinkertons before the game even start. The ferry job was all Micah idea and he was hype for some reason. It was chapter 1or 2 when Arthur was talking to Micah about to know what really happen in Blackwater. Micah explains some info then the Pinkertons just pop out of nowhere. Micah been acting so shady in the game for awhile, if you think about it. In my theory, Micah was caught by the Pinkertons in Blackwater, but his shady ways just got him caught. And they question him about the gang. They offered him a lot of cash and freedom if he cooperated with them. He accepted the offer and cause a lot of the gang problems throughout the game, without the player knowing the clue to chapter 6.

That was a glitch, Micah is in the cutscene but the gamr was glitched to where he was leaning on a tree at 6:57 and at 4:09 the gap between Pearson and Sadie is where Micah would usually be if the cutscene wasn't glitched.

I loved that show of power Dutch does when he agreed to go with Agent Milton and everyone got their guns ready to defend him. The real question isn't if Micah was a traitor then it's why didn't they kill Milton and Ross when they had the chance. They didn't have back up and Milton is threatening to kill everyone anyways. Popping them there would have saved a lot of lives except Arthur's.

I like the fact that they excluded micah from that mission because it's one of my favorites. It would still be good, but without micah it's much more enjoyable.

One thing I want to point out is that the Blind man you meet on the road warns you about the “Seeker” I think he says stop following or beware of the seeker. Dutch just called himself the Seeker.

Hosea had his suspicions on Micah since the third camp where he approaches and interrogates him about what happened with the boat heist in Blackwater, because originally they planned on robbing the Blackwater bank but then Micah brings up the idea to rob a boat that ends up leading them into a trap set by the Pinkertons and because of that they are in the greatest run for their lives, it was obviously not that big of a coinsidence that he was the one who purposely lead the gang to that trap and that's enough to let us know that he's been on the rat business way before day 1 of this game.

i would agree with you. but the Milton says in one mission that micah didnt snitch until they got back from the guarma. so he couldnt have snitched plus hes in the back ground on 6:57

When Milton realises that Arthur is dying why would he lie and tell him that Micah only turned in Chapter 5? If you examine this from the context of time, it makes no sense. There is well documented evidence that, despite differences, there was significant honour between lawmen and outlaws. When one was dying the other would be gracious. Therefore, if Micah had been an informant all along, it would make sense that Milton would have said that instead of lied.
