Love the floor press! It’s probably been the best accessory that’s improved my bench. It trains the overall pressing power of the upper body, when done correctly of course. No arch, no leg drive, just raw power! God I love it! 🇺🇸💪🏼

Matt just subscribed, you definitely help us all with your knowledge and experience, I'm also proud of you for helping are military get stronger and better, wish your format for strength was implemented in my training when I was in the army,we did a ton of running and lucky for me I always weight lifted got very strong grew good size, but if it was centered on your style we all good of got beastly, obviously we were burning ton of calories, and I'm sure because of that the majority of us were in a calorie deficit,no doubt,I got out of the service in 1989,are you still training the military?

That's interested. I think I'm going to take that idea to do my close-grip bench. I'm just going to use bands with no weights on the bar

I recently (in june) had an abdominal tear that wasn't a hernia but now everytime I do any sort of heavy lifting, like maxing out on squat or train longer than I should, it just gets agitated and sometimes it feels like it's about to tear open and become a hernia. Do you have a video that explains how to recover from injuries like mine, if not, could you do a video that goes through in detail about how to recover from abdominal injuries? I'm hoping you see this comment because lifting is a thing I want to do until I die, but I don't want to have my lifting revolve around this injury. Thank you for your time

@@shawnwilliams6108 I had. You have to do deep tissue massage. Do it several times a day and avoid abdominal exercises. It'll still take time, but you have to get rid of the scar tissue. Write me if you have questions. Also do plenty of warm ups.

The double light band bench: Is that two light bands on each side? Or one light band but wrapped around the peg ... doubling the tension on the one light band? In the power building manual you have bench lifts that say or are listed as “double band”.... just trying to understand if that’s two bands each side or one wrapped I hope that question makes sense 😀
