I loved this. It was so nice to hear Roi & Monette’s love story! Still think the girls version of the podcast with Alexxis & Monette would be great or even just give Alex & Roi the week off and let them takeover lol. Both women are so well spoken, it would be a great listen. A way to throw Alexxis off about the proposal is by saying it’s not anytime soon but really…it’s soon lol. My family started following Roi in 2006 and it was obvious he was a genius. When Alex became a partner the balance was there. Yes to therapy for you both individually and together. But also, in private. Or at least give it a few solid sessions before you platform just anyone. Maybe I just view my therapy as sacred that I couldn’t imagine exploiting it for views. Monette was making good points maybe y’all should listen to her lol.

I think “couples” therapy is a great idea for Alex & Roi. But I think you should consider really doing it off camera and if there are things you feel comfortable sharing on the pod then do so. I just feel like any credible and good therapist wouldn’t publicize a therapy session for views. Or I’m just thinking of yousef streaming his phone calls with his therapist lol. I agree with Monette that maybe a life or business coach may be the way to go for a podcast guest instead.

Alex, I’ve been watching you for a long time! You’re a great person with a kind heart! I’m not sure if this is helpful, it’s great that you want to contribute with ideas for content but therapy should probably be best privately like Roi said. Having therapy as content probably would cause your guys’ fans to take sides on who is right or not. In conflicts, no one is right, it’s about understanding and accepting, not about who is right or wrong. Keeping it private will not only bring you closer but avoid future conflicts.

That pod episode that was only out for a few hours on Spotify a few weeks ago where Alex said he felt like he was burdening Roi and Roi’s lack of verbal response to that, my response to that was going to be suggesting maybe y’all should do therapy together just to avoid another major fallout. I know you say you’re better at communicating now but you also just never know. It also seems to me Roi is still struggling to communicate based on that other podcast. He has built up strong resentment for Alex before, js it may happen again. It’s great you reconciled but this is also why for me personally I could never work with a best friend, let alone start a business with one. Maybe just even having a third party like a life/business coach could be beneficial for you both. Since KZbin is an unconventional job and not necessarily a stable one, I think it’s important to have multiple streams of income so not all the pressure is being put on these two channels or you two as a duo. Roi has guava and if Alex doesn’t want to vlog then I think he needs to figure out something for himself a little sooner rather than later even if it’s not in the KZbin world. I see how practical, level headed and intelligent Monette is. Love her and their story is so sweet. But yes to therapy, just not for the views but business coach session, then okay lol.

Roi flying to Monette because she was sad over a bad grade 🥹😭. Monette on the main channel AND the podcast?! What a treat! Love her, she should come on more often! I think the invisible string theory has a few definitions but the one I go by is the god of love and marriage tying a red thread between two soulmates who are destined to end up together. The thread stands the test of time through everything -distance, different relationships, other complexities and circumstances of life. Alex & Alexxis’ story with the weaving in and out of each other’s lives but eventually found each other is def a good example to me.

I have a constructive criticism. I love the show and the flow. But it would be nice if it was a little more structured. Ofc we love you for your authenticity but a little more structure with the questions would be nicer. For example in this episode we did not actually get to know Monette much or even Roi and Monette the couple. Monette is a private person we donot need to know her personal details but more so anecdotes about them as a couple. Or Monette the person.
