I always listen to this kind of things at night to help me sleep. Some of the narrators have such calming and soothing voices that it doesn't even bother me that it's a scary story, I sleep so soundly and deeply. Its really wonderful. =3

Anything that emanates features of another without matching them causes feelings of intimidation and fear, same thing for animals and racists. Its a trained biological mechanism to either fear or beat out the “competition” so to speak. One of the few remnants of instinct that are actually entertaining.

I was recently in the hospital in Florida, they had the thermostat set at 76 * Fahrenheit, they have blankets that are kept in a warmer, I was continually asking for warm blankets, at home I have my thermostat set at 85 degrees during the day.
