Cult is a group of like minded people having similar views on 'life'. They have their own views of the meaning of 'life'. How to live. What to do and what not to do. These are the groups having their own views to live. What elements that distinguishes this group with that of other group or society is they don't agree with the rules and regulations and customs and traditions of the society in which they live and the geographical area in which they live. They have their own views as to how customs and traditions and rules and regulations should be. As the society or the country in which they live, don't have such rules and regulations and customs and traditions of their desired pattern, they form their own group called cults and give a name to such cult and formulate their own rules and regulations and customs and traditions and live as per that cults traditions. Some cults are open and can be noticed and other cults operate underground with out being noticed by general public. Cults existed in the past and are present now also and will form such cults in future also. Thanks for the video showing how different cults have different views and customs and traditions and so on. A good presentation.

UH wrong about Heaven's gate.. the People's Temple had a bigger body count, and it started in America, and moved to south/central America

That is true - but there's debate on whether it was mass murder or mass suicide. With Heaven's Gate, there's no debate. They all willingly took their own lives. As such, it's considered the biggest in American History that occurred on American soil.
