Cost: If you own a Mercedes, the transmission speed sensors are attached to the conductor plate. The removal of the valve body is needed, so also include fluids, filters, gaskets (basically a transmission service kit is needed, plus the conductor plate). If you live in Australia, like me, $900 in parts plus 6 hours labour charge.

On a 04 Gm Envoy E4L60 transmission. If the speed sensors go out will it cause it to Jerk hard between 3 and 4 gear and feel like it's slipping or like it don't know when to go into woch gear at 40 to 50 and cause it to feel like transmission is going out.

Same trans in a 97 jimmy, it's having intermittent shifting issues on 1st and especially 2nd gear with mildly rough shifting on the rest. I can make it stop by restarting the car sometimes. The abs light has come on a few times randomly as well. Did you find your issue yet?

I have a 2008 ford f 150 .. the Trans fault light goes on after driving for about 25 min... and the OD light flashes... i had a diagnostic said it was the transmission speed sensor...i just had it changed and the light still comes up... do i have to reset the computer or should the light go off by itself..please help

Should go away on its own just give ot time could be a day or few days or sole cars it's goes away immediately
