3 years of thinking I'm an INFJ even after learning cognitive functions but now this video makes me think I'm an INFP because I resonate with all of this
@ale.di.g.6684 ай бұрын
Have you considered also the correlation with enneagram? Usually infjs have the enneagram 4w5 but also infps; it's really common for infj 4w5 to mistype has infp because 4w5s are perceivers by nature.

The last portion of the video where you guys talked about inferior Fe, really resonated with me. The reality of being extremely hurt by the groups rejection of my personal identity, has been the bane of my existence.

I love the part where you explained how Fe doms make decisions compared to IPs self referencing….As an onlooker it looks like a weak point for being easily manipulated by others….

I hear you! I'm INTP and I thank God that I value being the parent I wanted, that is, respecting a person for who they are. If I didn't value that, i wouldn't accept my fi ENFP daughter and her (I used to think stupid, but not anymore) feelings. In other words, if I never had kids, I'd be in a bad state as ti dom with Fi in very bottom spot.

Towards the end of Bruce Springsteen's song "Jungleland" there's a verse that I think captures well the dilemma IPs can experience between an ability to observe and comprehend what is happening around them and a hesitancy when it comes to trying to either express or act on that understanding: "Outside the street's on fire/with a real death waltz/between what's flesh and what's fantasy/and the poets down here/don't write nothin' at all/They just stand back and let it all be."
@ninat50072 жыл бұрын
Do you think that this self-referencing you describe for the IxxPs can be mistaken for dominant Si when you hear the person relate back to themselves, whereas with dominant Si there might be less of a personal reasoning attached and more of an external world historical step-by-step timeline focus?

i'm pretty sure im an intp but I was wondering if you could differentiate fi and inferior fe. Whenever I try to assert my own beliefs and morals I often find it uncomfortable, I feel a strong fi user would be highly confident in their moral and value judgements. I often long for a connection with others however I don't know how to go about doing so. I also have difficulty processing my own feelings especially negative ones so I often push them away or ignore them because they're so painful and complicated to understand. I identify way more with ti, I enjoy taking things apart and asking how they work.
@choco-ps7rk2 жыл бұрын
Yea i think ur a ti user , for me as a fi user im always reflecting upon my emotions , and if i dont stick to my values sometimes i get harsh on myself ,, So yea i think ur more of a ti user than fi I know a ti user and u can see inf fe by how she just keeps the feelings away until it explodes which means basically tht she stores it away because she often doesnt know what shes feeling , and she often offends ppl but on accident which ofter happens to Ti doms ,, they can also care for stuff like how ppl view them and it might cause them to appear weird to other ppl in sense that ti users sometimes dont know how to act around others in social situations and may feeze doing so For Te inf.. its more like being afraid of not being able to go thro a signular life path because of poor planning , being afraid of failure, failure to act upon goals (tho i dont have much problem with this one) , it can also make a certain stubborness in infps and isfps So yea thts all
@senantiasa2 жыл бұрын
Don't push negative feelings away or ignore them, face them. The best perceivers (the most confident and most likeable) are in my opinion the ones who have faced their ugliness, their failures, their painful experiences and embrace them. Judgers on the other hand are looking outwardly, so they usually aren't aware of them or think about these things personally..
@LamenT1372 жыл бұрын
@@choco-ps7rk Thank you, I highly relate to your ti friend, I often ignore my feelings until they explode and I end up lashing out at others because of this. I have had a lot of past trauma so I thought that could be a reason of me not understanding my feelings but i've always had a complicated dynamic with my emotions. I wasn't treated very fairly or kindly by my peers because I was nervous to talk to any of them so they thought I was weird, this lead to me completely rejecting fe even though all I really want is to get closer to the ones I love and to form a connection with others but I don't know how to do this so I feel lonely and loveless. I think my rejection fe led to me testing fi, but ti never falls too far behind or I get ti over fi. I identify way more with ti though. I used to think that I had a feeling preference because I thought I was too sensitive to be an intp or a ti user in general. People used to make fun of me in elementary school for being too sensitive so I think I relied too much on the stereotype of intps being cold and unfeeling.
