Ok this question has more to do with the knee: at almost 2 months I still can’t get past 90 degrees flexion. I did also have an injury to my femoral nerve prior surgery (with nerve block) is this affecting my range of motion? Now my dr wants to put me in a splint before considering MUA but if I can’t even do it now what difference is that going to make ?

Thanks for commenting and for watching this video! As for the knee my best recommendation is to continue to focus on knee range of motion exercises that are going to stretch your knee to its end range! I would do this consistently for 3-4 times per day trying out various stretches. I also would recommend working on the soft tissue specifically tightness along the quads and massaging the incision. This can help your flexibility tremendously especially if you haven’t done this before. The injury to the femoral nerve can very well be affecting your range of motion but this can be improved. @Laura-db8om although I’d love to give you a straight answer I do not know the full circumstance of your situation. I’m sorry if this doesn’t help you but I do not want to give you advice that goes against what your surgeon is advising you. Hoping and wishing for the best for you!!

At almost 8 weeks I would stay that you still have some time to improve your range of motion!
