Thanks for sharing. Here are 4 simple habits that made me more disciplined and made my life a lot better: 1. I started actually planning my day instead of just 'going with the flow', and it made huge difference 2. I started reading books on mindBloomery, and it's awesome insight. I can't wait for more books 3. I made a morning routine I don't hate (no crazy 5am wakeups, just what works for me) 4. I replaced limiting beliefs and learned how to say "no" to some people and how to prioritize self-respect

There's even a psychology and neuroscience behind the value of gratitude. When we struggle, we often focus on all the things going wrong and forget the things we have going for us even amidst the struggle. One thing I picked up from Zen monk Shunmyo Masuno is gratitude for living another day. In the evening when I walk my dog, I stop at one hill where I can see the sunset and pause to look at it and give gratitude for living another day. My partner and I also give gratitude at dinner - whether it's for something big or even as simple as warm food on a cold night.

Atheist here. No deities. But I appear to have mindfulness. Lots of good karma. Minimum bad. I think its just brain chemistry. I am not prone to malicious behaviors. Kindness and gratitude comes easy for me. A clean uncluttered home and environment leaves me peaceful. I want to believe brighter days are still yet to come. Those behind me were difficult. I'm a little bit tired. Age 68 - Miranda CA

@@davesky538 I believe very strongly that there is a creative force. But I also believe that atheist can be wonderful, good, moral people. Religious people don’t own all the goodness in this world. lol in fact there are way too many hypocrites within all religions. Half of all my friends are atheists and we get along just fine. I don’t try to change their beliefs and they don’t try to change my beliefs.

Happy and wise mindsets in a whole population, this is impressive. I always feel grateful for, in my whole life, having received a large dosis of kindness and friendship of solidary, wise and generous people. Or kindness from total strangers. On the other hand, I always made a point to redistribute to anyone, people or animals, the support and kindness I receive. After all, I have been getting Toku tickets and didn't know 😂 Loved your video. Subscribed. Gratitude 🙏🌼

While I never think about God or the sun watching me, I always imagine someone in the crowd or in the store or wherever is watching. So I behave, even to the point of walking straight never slouching lol I’ve started a gratitude journal a few weeks ago after watching another of your great videos. It has helped me a lot. Very often we don’t pay attention to the small things that make us feel good. After starting my journal I am living in the moment always looking at what is happening right now. Always making a mental note “oh I can add this to my journal” And consciously enjoy the moment.

In France we say Après la pluie, le soleil ( after the rain, comes the sun) meaning it'll be alright soon after. Things can change for the best. About 1 st point, I'm not sure fear should be the reason to be honest... I'm honest because of my morality. I can't take something someone else has earned maybe with difficulty. And I want others to bring back my belongings so I do the same.
