Yes, part two will be helpful. BTW, I am waiting for another Bugrock episode since we're so close to 1.18 (November 30th).

For your first example, a target block on the bottom will prevent the redstone redirection from breaking the clock. (Ever since they fixed target blocks I've been trying to find the best uses for them, like shortening the "100% reliable" item elevators one block in length or one in width depending on configuration - love em! 😂)

@olivergobrrr29353 жыл бұрын
I think so too! Bedrock and Java are very different in terms of redstone (quasi-connectivity and bedrock randomness), and as such...you get my point.
@fuzzycatfur20083 жыл бұрын
Yeah... with all the planned parity updates too, redstone will be a very difficult topic to handle there, best way might be to introduce a new redstone like material to each version that acts like the other versions redstone, and make it as simple as adding a very common dye to redstone in the crafting table.
@lordmord83783 жыл бұрын
@@olivergobrrr2935 I see people talk about bedrock redstone randomness pretty often but I’m not sure what they’re referring to. I do lots of redstone but the only randomness I can think of is lag-related timing issues in realms.

Could you make the best/most compact: t-flipflop, rising and falling edge monostable circuts, and double/triple piston extenders please.

1:54 you could replace the normal block that's underneath the repeater here with a target block so you never have to worry about redirecting the redstone dust, as redstone dust will always point into a target block. 3:13 There is actually a limit to how long you can make these, assuming that your input into the pulse extender is a pulse (like a button) and not a steady signal (like a lever). If you've made it too long, a short pulse won't power it long enough, and as a result, your pulse extender will turn into a clock that runs for a certain amount of time before turning itself off (actually useful sometimes).

Yes please, please tell us about the circuits where a pulse can be converted to continuous signals like pressing a button once will give continuous on signal while pressing it again turns it off. Also vice versa too where a continuous signals can be turned to pulses like flicking a lever on will turn redstone lamp on then off and when it is flicked off it will again turn on and off the redstone lamp

For the first red stone clock, you could replace the block the red stone torch is on with a piston facing down into an obsidian block since if a piston is powered with a red stone torch on it the torch will turn off and because of how red stone works, the red stone dust would redirect to the piston

The first clock in java edition after some burn out with one tick delay on the repeater. A problem I have with the pulse extender is that when the imput is fast for example from an observer it will do an on and off circuit that will pulse the redstone instead of taking it on and off The hopper counter do not work on java The observer do not depower the torch, to make it work I had to put a repeater at least at 2 tick delay betwin the observer and the block with the torch. I think that the problem in java edition is that the observer have a shorter delay then badrock
