Despite medical advances, high blood pressure remains a leading modifiable risk factor for
the development of cardiovascular disease. Simple lifestyle changes can help prevent and treat high blood pressure. With aggressive lifestyle changes, you may even be able to reduce medications if you are already on them, or even eliminate them completely!
Whether you have high blood pressure now or want to prevent the development of high blood pressure in the future, Dr. Kim Scheuer and Anthony Masiello want you to empower you with the information, tools, tips, and practical skills to better manage or eliminate it.
There ARE simple, effective, things you can do yourself starting today, and we want to make sure you know all about them!
About Dr. Kim
Dr. Kim Scheuer specializes in general health and wellness, weight management and food addiction, metabolic syndrome, diabetes, cardiovascular disease (including blood pressure and cholesterol control), and cancer prevention. She also focuses on the improvement of morbidity and mortality for patients already diagnosed with cancer, hormonal health and nutrition, allergy/asthma symptom improvements, thyroid health, autoimmune disorders and arthritis (osteo and rheumatoid), fatigue, digestive health, men’s and women’s health, de-prescribing medications, exercise enhancement, and improving your relationship with yourself.
Dr. Kim wants to help you get to the root cause of your illness to achieve disease reversal, rather than give medications to treat symptoms. However, if you need medication, I want to help you use as few medications as possible so you can feel younger, happier, and healthier, just as I have!
About Anthony:
Anthony found a plant-based lifestyle himself after being denied a 20-year term life insurance policy at age 33. He was morbidly obese, weighing more than 360 pounds, medicated for high blood pressure, and suffering from psoriasis, eczema, migraine headaches, and sleep apnea. With his transition to a whole food plant-based diet and healthy lifestyle, Anthony lost 160 pounds and reversed all these conditions. He has maintained that weight loss, and an incredible quality of life, for more than 16 years and counting.
He co-founded what is now Love.Life Telehealth in 2019 to make lifestyle medicine available to everyone. He’s proud to enable patients to find the medical care they need to implement lifestyle changes that will truly improve their health, wellness, and quality of life, no matter where they live.

I lowered my sodium intake to less than 500mg/day. A few days after doing so, my BP started falling quickly. Within a month or so, I’ve come off 3 of my 4 BP meds, and had to half the dose of my last dose. Hopefully I can get off the last one shortly. Of course, I’ve been eating WFPB SOS-free for a few months. Never going back to the old way!!🎉

Great info - lowering the intake of salt makes it necessary to either eat raw vegetables and fruits or to make the cooked food yourself since nearly every ready to go meal unfortunately are much too loaded with salt - it would be helpfull to general Health if these principales were generally used and especially in the Health Care system and packeded foods - 🎶🍀🎵🐸🙏

Nice to know that strong hibiscus and also a hibiscus Alma tea that have a lot of anticyonines and antioxidants that is very helpfull for lowering bloodpressure and I also really appreciate all the other ways of lowering blood pressure e.g. The breathing exercise 478 and moderate exercise at least Hald an hour daily and my favorite exercise is just dancing freely around but also walking and also gardering and yoga stretches outside , preferable barefoot in grass or at the sea in sand 🎶😀🌷♥️🎵🙏

Having hypertension can make it more difficult to form a blood clot after the venipucture when giving blood--especially because they have to use such a large needle.

Better make sure you have the amla tea in a Shaka le container - doesn’t dissolve even in boiling water. Settles.

4T flax seeds per day? How?
@harakeke11
@harakeke11 9 ай бұрын
I pop them into my smoothy in the morning. You can also use chia seeds for the omega 3 and make chia seed pudding. Ground up linseeds can be sprinled on salads and oatmeal as well 😊

@@harakeke11 Good tips, but I’m wondering how anyone can eat 4 T per day. That’s a lot every single day, pretty much flax seeds for every meal.

@@sandraelder1101 yes, but you can put them in your oatmeal. Or in your ranch or ltalian salad dressings. But l do primarily in smoothie. If l dont get 4 l dont sweat the program.
