Such simple ideas that can make a huge difference. I loved the FOCUSED acronym. I heard this a few years ago somewhere and had forgotten about it. That’s a great way to keep kids priorities straight. Thank you for sharing these helpful tips!

I needed this video right now. We have been struggling with consistency which is super important. I have to get my mind on priorities first so I can teach my kids the same

What specifically are you wanted a printable of? Just the strategies in the video or something else?
@MichelleL8314 күн бұрын
I was going to ask about a printable for the FOCUSED hour. 🙏

@@MichelleL83 We don't have one of those at this time. Perhaps we should work on that!

It's no coincidence this was in my email this morning. I've been struggling with these issues with my 11 year old son. This was very helpful. Do you offer the planner at Not Consumed?

What other timers do you set in your phone for daily stuff? I added the “check their checklists” thank you for that idea, I often forget to follow up with each kid to make sure they’ve completed this list!
@NotConsumedMinistries14 күн бұрын
I've used all kinds of timers! Basically, if I need to do it more than once, there is a timer for it. Here are a few examples: *time to start school *time to start lunch/dinner *time to check the list *time for my daily walk *time to start closing things up for the work day *time to actually stop the work day :-) *time to start winding down for bed *time to go to bed (yep, I do have this and I need to do it so I can go to bed on time to be effective in the morning!)
