If we're talking about effective communication, how about slowing down your speech a bit, and taking more pauses? I feel like you're reading to camera, as fast as you can. It doesn't give us time to digest each point, and becomes a barrage of words. Seems to be a North American thing, and is exacerbated on KZbin. YTers talk so quickly. Always in a rush...

I would add only one that I wish I had in my 20s: self-respect and self-esteem. The person you choose to be with is a reflection of you. So respect yourself and pick right, instead of who is simply willing to take you. Don't let her treat you bad in ways you wouldn't treat her. Most importantly, know when to end things. Commitment isn't just about staying with someone; it's also about knowing when to commit to yourself and break things off of your own good. Respect and take care of yourself.

I just learned this the hard way. I spent almost two years in what I didn't realize was a really bad relationship. I've slowly had my self-esteem stripped away over the course of my currently young life and that definitely didn't help things. I've spent this last year working really hard to rebuild my self-esteem and take my life back and I'm just now starting to feel some of the payoff. Luckily I'm still in my 20s and am getting to learn the value of myself early on, but man is it a REALLY hard lesson!

Great advice. For example, typically people try losing weight before their wedding to look good in the pictures. After the honeymoon, when real life begins and they already have a spouse, most people stop caring about their health. This is because they wanted to lose weight for the occasion/partner and not themselves.

FACTS. So discovering interesting hobbies, taking care of yourself, emotional maturity, financial control and clear communication is what any adult Man or Woman should be capable of in this day and age. Well if you're considered physically attractive and desirable as a person then sure these other things will fall into place. Happy Pentecost everyone. Congratulations on Courtney's 700k subscribers 👏🎉. I like being single too as I'm a 24 year old Christian virgin living at peace until I'm done with working as a teacher and grad school next year SOOOO YEAH 👍. Wanting relationships with others is a natural part of life but physical conditioning and fitness is crucial for healthy living and relationships. Men are expected to lead in the relationship with her, take care of themselves physically/emotionally and psychologically as well as be self sufficient because Roma Downey is another KZbin channel with content like this. I really respect Mrs. Ryan for at least trying to help Men and Women out in promoting healthy relationships, positive mindsets and growth in individual 🙏 ❤️. I've been watching Courtney's videos since 2021 so her channel is really helpful especially on KZbin and social media. This has nothing to do with the video but please listen if you want to otherwise leave it alone and ignore it. Hello my name is Justin and I'm a Christian and Apologist but I'm also a college graduate. I'm not a closed minded Theist as I have nothing against Atheists or unbelievers as I speak to them often to understand their reasons for unbelief but we as Christians are convinced of God's Existence due to many real factors). I'm not trying to convert anyone or convince anyone to become Christians as that's The Holy Spirit's job to help people believe but only explain why I believe in Jesus Christ. There's actually evidence of God's Existence in Christianity. First of all there's proof that Jesus of Nazareth existed in history since the writings of Tacitus, Josephus Flavius, Pliny the younger and other historical documents prove that He was living two thousand years ago that even scholars both religious and Atheists agree with historically speaking but not that He's The Divine Son of God because obviously they don't. I'm going to give you historical and archeological evidence for God's Existence as The Scriptures have prophecies that predate the events recorded in them by several millennia including Matthew, Hosea and Zechariah which prophesy accurately of the people of Israel becoming a nation again after over 1900 years of being scattered around the nations since the destruction of the Temple in Jerusalem in 70 A.D. spoken of by Christ in Matthew 23:29-24:3 and returning to their homeland after The Holocaust with Jerusalem as their capital in 1948 exactly as Jesus The Christ said. The prophets including Daniel spoke of the time where several world empires would arise and fall including the Babylonian kingdom, Medes and Persians, Roman Empire, and Saladin and the Muslims which went in consecutive order for the past few millennia. The people of Israel becoming a nation after The Holocaust in 1948 (ironically the melting point of gold as God compares Israel to gold that's tested in fire in Zechariah 13:8 and Jeremiah 16:15) exactly how Jesus The Christ said would happen since God us everything to come in The Scriptures and not just because people were working towards as Atheists claim which are impossible for any regular man to predict. Just before anyone says Christianity is a white man's religion made to oppress blacks during slavery you obviously aren't aware that the first Christians were Jews in The Middle East and that Christianity just like any religion can be used by evil and corrupt people to oppress others but you forget that the first Abolitionists/Civil Rights activists were Christians who sought to abolish slavery, racism, segregation, injustice and prejudice throughout American history. Jesus The Christ loves you enough not to give you what we all deserve which is God's Wrath by His Own Blood. Charles Darwin didn't originally come up with The Theory of Evolution over 200 years ago as it is mentioned in the writings of Ancient Greeks who believed in Demons that gave knowledge to philosophers. Evolution makes no sense when nothing has evolved after thousands of years of human history and supposedly the first creature came from primordial sludge several millions of years ago funny how they won't believe that God an Eternal Almighty Spirit Being created us from the Earth) which came from a supermassive expansion of matter at high temperature that inexplicably created everything in the known universe that supposedly came from nothing billions of years ago. How did the organs evolve before there were bones, skin, substance and how did any creatures see before eyes evolved? I've studied evolution and abiogenesis in the past and read Darwin's " On The Origin of Species" and I'm not convinced of macro Evolutionary biology whereas I accept micro Evolution like speciation and adaptation but not macro Evolution because there's no evidence of it nor clear observable examples of it where living creatures evolve into other kinds of species plus the fact that fossils don't show evidence of evolution and genetic entropy rules out evolution. The question begs how did two genders evolve from a common ancestor with a perfectly hospitable and sustainable environment with breathable oxygen and resources to survive on inexplicably? Atheists have the burden of proof to explain how everything came to be and why our existence is possible without the Existence of God from an godless perspective just as Christians have to provide evidence of God's Existence and the validity of His Word. Evolution requires life to already exist in order to take any effect in living organisms so it doesn't account for the existence of Life and reality. Also evolution is impossible because it goes against The Law of entropy and the second Law of thermodynamics because evolution makes things better whereas nothing continues to get better but decays and turns to absolute destruction in the end. Mark Ridley an Evolutionist said "No evolutionist whether gradualist or punctuationist uses the fossil record as evidence in favor of The Theory of Darwinian Evolution as opposed to special Creation". God's Existence is made perfectly known and observable in the universe as demonstrated in His Handiwork in the intelligently designed manner that Creation was made, human consciences and consciousness historical and archaeological evidence of God's Word being valid history, fulfillment of Bible Prophecies God in His Holiness and Righteousness could give us what we deserve in Hell for our since but He's merciful to give us free will to choose to accept or reject His gift of salvation by grace through faith in His Son Jesus. I don't mean this is any condescending manner but if you'd like to discuss The Scriptures with me or have me listen to your view on anything my instagram account is Savage Christian Kombatant

I emphasised to my young adult sons learning the following five basic skills when they were young teenagers. Learning to shop, cook, clean your home and clothes, personal grooming, manage your money. You would be amazed how many women are impressed by a man that can cook nice food, lives in a clean and tidy place, wears clean clothes, smells nice, is well groomed and is solvent. I honestly think it is a good part of why my wife liked me. Living like a wild animal isn't very attractive.
@adamstark1850
@adamstark1850 Ай бұрын
The problem I've found though, a lot of women are impressed by men cooking, is because they have no desire to do it themselves. Because feminism has told them it's oppressive. And in a lot of cases these women bring nothing to the table. Insert "I am the table line." But I do think it's good for men to do those things for themselves, not to impress women.
@brianthesnail3815
@brianthesnail3815 Ай бұрын
@@adamstark1850 I agree. Being able to look after yourself, eating healthy, self discipline, being clean and tidy, not wasting your money is a life skill for every good young man (and good young woman). Thankfully my eldest son has found a great young woman like that and my youngest is still looking but he knows what he wants. That said, its been 40 years since my wife cooked me a meal. She can cook but hates cooking. I trained as a chef out of pure personal interest (my actual day job is building electricity systems for entire countries). She does other things as her contribution, we divide the labour and she is a wonderful mother to our boys and is the glue that makes our family work. It's clear what she brings to the table even though I hate that phrase.

This skill that changed my life. The ability to focus. And at times the single-minded with my focus. Many many of my other skills/ self-improvements we're having much less impact than I wished. Distraction, multitasking, allowing other things to pull me away from the task at hand. All these and more stopped me from getting the bang for my buck. Focusing on a person when they speak to you. Focusing on your work and not daydreaming. Etc etc. I found that once I was more intensely focused, my subconscious along with serendipity started working in my favor

Better Help was terrible. They really don't have many people available to meet outside of standard work hours, as I found out when my therapist told me to "just get over" my dad's recent death and then I found that she didn't even remember basic things I'd said. Beyond all that she refused to even use headphones so there was terrible feedback. She then dropped me I think as some sort of complaint preemption. It's really quite frustrating that every other podcast or video I watch has their deceptive ads.

I’ve been playing guitar for decades. Recently I wrote on a sticky note “I play music for my mental health” and stuck it on my axe. Tip: Keep your guitar handy and close-by. Make it easy to pick up.

Wow the more I listened to this the more I thought that these skills were all needed in a family. As a father of 3 beautiful daughters I can say that all of these skills are needed in order to hold the family together. Hobbies -> otherwise you will break down Bodycare -> if not you will lose attraction from your wife Emotional strength -> an absolut must with 3 kids Financial strength -> an absolute must with 3 daughters and 1 wife 😅 Effective communication -> like the ceo of a company you have to master this skill For all the single men out there master these skills in advance and you will have a bright relationship if not you will learn the hard way! Greetings from Germany

Yeah I'm pretty settled in what my terms are. I'm satisfied with a phone/text relationship. I don't want to meet any women in person. It's just texting every once in awhile for text sex or whatever. Those are my terms any woman would have to adjust to if she is interested.

A quick question to all the viewers here who were born and raised in the US, if I may … I'm planning on taking a month-long vacation trip to the US for the first time somewhere in mid-June ... My American friends (whom I entertained here for a couple of weeks at least twice) invited me over and told me that they could offer me a rent-free place to stay in a suburb of San Diego, California, and in downtown Austin, Texas ... Being on a tight budget, I would be able to visit only one of those states ... Which of them do you think I should choose and why? My main interests are visiting natural wonders and meeting single women searching for a life partner … Or maybe I should be searching for Miss Right in Canada, if that makes any difference … Anyway, I'm dead set on finding out what makes North American women different from the rest of the world ... Also, my friends suggested that I learn to use some US slang or I won’t be able to communicate with the local residents on a proper level but I’m not sure if it’s worth the effort … Won’t Americans be trying to express their thoughts in plain English seeing that they are dealing with a foreigner? Your advice or feedback would be greatly appreciated ... Please help! * Moscow, Russia PS I am NOT Putin, just your average Russian Joe Schmo ... So please send your hateful political feedback to HIM, not ME ...

Hey I’m a 27 yr old man with no experience period. There’s a girl In my class I’ve liked and during our time out I finally told her I think she’s the most beautiful person in our class. She then said no way and my … response was … that all the other girls in my class are ugly even though I know it’s not true although they just don’t appeal to me because I have been head over heels for this whole time. (It’s a shitty comment in general and I can’t leave it at that) because I got choked up and never said in comparison to you or any other words rather than ugly since this was the first time I’ve done this). I then proceeded to ask her to go on a date with me a few days later because I had not realized how nervous I had been. I’ve been taking care of myself and focusing on my career my whole life refusing romantic relationships along the way but now I’m so far behind. I’m going to tell her the truth and apologize since it’s been killing me but your videos have been great for self improvement. Let me know if you got any advice pls (I know it’s the internet but I have felt sick to my stomach and unable to sleep) since I have liked this girl for 3 years and don’t want her to disappear from my life.

Is learning the art of rizz (PUA) considered a valid hobby/interest? I think it ties in quite nicely to the tip on effective communication. Learning how to confidently approach strangers and carry a conversation will also translate to other aspects of one's professional life where persuasion and charisma matter. You'll become a better leader at work by routinely honing your social skills with standoffish strangers.

I have hobbies like archery, (big in USA) not so in South Africa. I love classical music. In Europe and USA this kind of music is loved by most people, both young and old. In South Africa classical music is only enjoyed by a handful of people. So finding a possible partner who likes these things are very difficult over here. Maybe a better idea of finding a partner from a European country or a USA State.☺
