Altar of the Brood looks like it would go really well with the other commander in that horror precon, Zellix, Sanity Flayer. tl;dr the card: Zellix is a 3 cost (2 generic 1 blue) creature with "choose a background". He has an activated and triggered ability. Activated: Pay 1 mana: Target player mills 3 cards. Pay attention to the triggered ability: Whenever a player mills one or more creature cards, you create a 1/1 black horror creature token. Altar of the Brood: Whenever another permanent enters the battlefield under your control, each opponent puts the top card of his or her library into his or her graveyard. Could be fun, could be tedious, could be annoying, not sure, but I might proxy an Altar of the Brood into my Zellix/haunted one commander deck and see how it goes.

I gotta say for a decent budget mono-white voltron I've been loving Wandering Rescuer but Balan Wandering Knight can also be fun. A friend of mine has been tuning a Rafiq of the Many deck for Voltron for the better part of a decade and there's nothing budget about his deck these days but that burly lad goes for a cool .53 cents these days

Small, but slightly counter productive point: With liesa and dauthi, your opponent chooses how the card gets exiles and theyll likely choose liesa as long as you control both unless you can mill or discard. So its a little less than ideal but altar of dementia or something "bypasses" the issue

@ Yeah so the liesa list i threw together with bulk was like 8 destroy wipes, my goal is to tutor selfless spirit to the gy, reanimate it, drop a wipe "oh all my creatures are indestructible" rinse, repeat I tried the dauthi in the list and it just felt like it never did anything since theyd exile stuff under liesa

Tadeas/Dhalsim would be a great aggro/tempo deck. Just run a lot of hard or impossible to block creatures to guarantee that card draw. Since you have built in hexproof, you can run a lot more protection spells than usual. Also their are plenty of cards in white that don't let opponents to cast spells on your turn.

Captain N is way better used for a non tribal captain. Since his 2nd ability just needs cards to be put into the graveyard this turn. So removal and forced sac stuff makes him way better. Sure Mill helps but dont need to be tribal at for that either. Also add other stuff for reanimate etc.

"At the beginning of your end step, choose target artifact or creature card in an opponent's graveyard that was put there from their library this turn. Put it onto the battlefield under your control." It's gotta be from the library, discard and sac don't work.

I get the sentiment, though. Creatures that mill on attack or etb work no matter the type. I had an Anowon the Ruin Thief rogue tribal deck and I've been slowly making it into a Captain N deck and it still works great even though it's 50% horrors and 50% rogues.
