The accelerate/ deccelerate tip mixed with the not needing many skill moves on the run was a great tip for me. Ill always try and maradona or snake when I only need to act like im stopping and go again. It's one of those things I see so often but never really thought much of it but you explaining it with the clips of kaka helped alot thanks!

Your dribbling suggestions helped me be a pro dribbler now I can beat tons of defenders in tight areas with quick touches. Little touches and small touches comes in quick touches because if you are taking quick touches that means you are taking small or little touches quick touches is a much easier term thank you upload more about dribbling .Thanks your videos are really helpful.

Hey Simply Soccer in no way I'm trying to hate but I kind of noticed that your videos you repeat your self a lot like same tips but different titles etc you have different tips of course in each videos but I feel like you always repeat the same tips in some of your videos in no way I'm hating tho and I love your channel I think its because you make videos every day which means you will run out of things but I love your channel like
@SimplySoccer
@SimplySoccer 6 жыл бұрын
Hey! No worries, I don't take it as hate. But there are a few good reasons for it. First reason, many videos I've made months ago will not be seen by newer people to the channel. So I will update older videos to not only try and make them better, but also so that those that weren't around back then don't miss out on an important topic. Secondly, and probably most important of all, what you have to realize with any helpful info like this is it is not enough to hear it just once. It's the repetition of hearing the info over and over again and then applying it which allows for positive change. I understand the nature of KZbin is people want to come on and be entertained, but I want certain ideas to sink in. That's why I make many videos on ideas like consistency and confidence. They are worth repeating and reminding people of because they are so important. Tony Robbins said that whenever anyone would come to him and say something like "teach me something new", he knew they weren't committed to becoming great! They just wanted the next shiny object. The next thing to entertain them. I will always keep making videos that are new and refreshing (and don't worry, I have plenty of ideas), but I am a firm believer in repeating ideas that are important and can have an impact if someone listens to it more than once.

i know what you mean. IDK i still have problems with that too, I cant shoot hard when running and having an opponent on me. Im very fast though so i just run past them and try to get one on one with the goalie up close so the shot is easier. I need to learn how to shoot as well.

Anson 23 practice shoot on the run.. 😊😊 I too had this question 1 year ago.. But as I practiced it, it became so usual that you would find it so easy.. If you want to shoot under pressure, try to create space and then quick swipe shoot on the goal.. You can search for it on KZbin..

To make this long story short I started Playing football when I was about 7 years old. I played for 3 teams as a LM and RM. I won tournaments. I had talent I was told from many players and Coaches. I quit around age 13 because I didn't have a drive anymore (Dumb Teen rebel phase). Later on I realized my mistake of quitting and I instantly regret it. I played my junior and senior year in high school in Varsity. Im 21 now Im not in college and I don't know what do to I miss the beautiful game a lot. Should I start playing for college? Is it too late to go pro? Even for MLS? How do I get my skills back?

Another habit that needs to be added is to wait for your opponent to overcommit on the tackle so you can simply tap it out of the way. Also donot overcommit your self because that makes it easier for the defender for tackling you because mostly the spaces get tight (basically the last habit in the video) =). Thnx for the content though!

Dave, I need help. The team I play for is bad, so I'm thinking I should play for my towns men's first team. However, I don't know If I will be playing very much ( When next season starts I will be just 15 ) and most of the players have been playing for 30 years. Should I play for the team I'm already on and be the best player on the pitch? or should I play for the men's first team and challenge myself?

@SimplySoccer
@SimplySoccer 6 жыл бұрын
He was one of the best of his generation. Yes, he was quick, but that doesn't automatically make you a good dribbler. Also, doing fancy skills doesn't make you a great dribbler. Think of all the fast players who can't dribble that effectively. They play it too far ahead, or outrun the ball. It's a very hard skill to be able to dribble at full speed with the ball in control. Kaka was a master of this. There isn't a player today that I've seen who can do what he did in his prime bar maybe Messi although his style is different.

@SimplySoccer

Don't worry, that's actually pretty typical on YT. My percentage of views to subs is actually really good when compared the YT average. Some channels do get more views than they have subs, but that's based on the type of channel they are.

Pushing the ball ahead and run accelerate is fine, but try accelerating without pushing the ball ahead ;instead touch to ball each time you dribble during acceleration....In other words , you still have full control over the ball which you don't have in the former. That is where you separate the man from the boys when you're able to the latter.....

Totally agree with some of these techniques. Looking at my favorite player eden hazard I see him use the decelerate accelerate technique a lot. I find cutting through agility poles really helps me with that. Here is a link if anyone is interested amzn.to/2BLShAU

there's one thing that kills me, when i have the ball i become suddenly nervous and don't know what to do... and that results in a wrong or awkward pass but most of the time the other player snatches the ball away from me !!
@SimplySoccer

One issue may be lack of practice. If you get your dribbling and skills to a point where it's almost automatic, you'll start to lose the nerves. Through experience you'll start to become less nervous as well.
