@@wrinkleintime4257 I didn’t realise when I read it that it was so popular, I just picked it up in the book store. I think I like it so much because of the way the author tells the story. TSOA deserves like a million stars. THAT is a book milk and honey is the furthest thing i’ve ever seen from poetry. every page is like two lines and it’s not like there’s a deeper meaning to anything. majority of it is smut.. It Ends With Us imo didn’t hit me in the feels like how i thought it would. most people hyped it up so so much and i was expecting something great. tiktok really heightens ur expectations for books that aren’t that good.

The thing with booktok is everyone basically makes the same content because popular topics brings in views. I try to find creators that genuinely will give their honest review that was well thought out. Also a lot of people base their review of a book entirely on how it made them feel rather than actually fleshing out the book to properly give people a true review. It doesn't even have to be anything deep or super specific. But because emotion is so subjective it makes those kind of reviews unreliable for the average person wanting to know if it's worth it based on their taste and interest.

it ends with us lived up to the hype imo, but maybe that’s because my friend and I read it at the same time and she went through similar experiences as the main character. I understood what the main character went through because I’ve seen it with my own eyes. It really resonated with us, but maybe it was because my friend had went through it and I was her closest support. The book still sticks with me today. It is powerful.

@@angelicizedeve lol this is so late. but it left me with sosososos many questions. we never got any explanation to death cast or why it works or who created it or idk it could’ve been a whole ass series tbh with u. they basically created a dystopian world BUT i will say that my theory is that it has nothing to do with death cast or wtv being correct but more of just when u expect something to happen it definitely will. i think if they didn’t accidentally kill themseleves by roaming the streets or skydiving or something then the death cast poeple will get rid of them

I LOVE THE MIDNIGHT LIBRARY! Nora is such a inspiration the way she lived through so much pain then killed herself then found so many reasons to live that change in mindset is what makes a truely good main character (as well as other components). Naah bro, I didnt like it much, like sire ot was good for passing time amd this is coming from a huge romance genre lover,It was very cliche and felt like a wattpad story, It seemed rushed and stuff was kinda predictable from the beginning, I knew their relationship would not last much because then what was the point of introducing Atlas, And ofcource they got married too quick amd everything wad going soo positive and lovely.. idk, People have hyped this book up, A 3.5 star from me, Even skipped a few pages cuz they were cringy

I really liked Daisy Jones and the six. It's kind of set like a magazine article, but it takes superstars (although fictional ones) and makes them seem much more like real people. It has separate sections with different characters and really focuses on how they grow and interact. I've never been good at descriptions, but i swear it's way better than I'm making it sound--

books after moving into a smaller home. I didn’t expect to enjoy the process of condensing my vast book collection and finding new homes for my books, but it’s been an incredible adventure for me, being able to cross the paths of so many book lovers makes my heart happy. My initial goal was to thin out my collection to fit my new, smaller space and I was on a mission. I started a book group on FB, Hundred Acre Books, to have a spot where I could share pictures of the available books in one spot, despite the genre. I needed my own spot to learn, grow and evolve my group. I offered books from all genres, suitable for all ages and quickly learned what others liked to read. Then, I decided to welcome request lists. Now I get to enjoy the thrill of hunting for books in the wild, helping others collect the books that make them happy. It feels great to pass along books at the lowest possible price, so other book people can benefit from the many sources and supply outlets available to me. I really enjoyed your video, learning what you like to collect and why.

Hey. Actually am a new reader and not an expert in English as it isn't my first language. Whenever I start to read a book, there are so many words that I don't know the meaning of, so I have to search their meanings on Google or in dictionary, and it really becomes very hard to search the meanings of words every time. I need help in this, it would be very nice of you to give me any tip or advice on this. Thank you.
@justamilkycowmoo
@justamilkycowmoo Жыл бұрын
@@areehaqamar1097 hey, I would actually recommend reading easier books. This may seem weird if you are an older individual, but when learning a new language, you have to learn the foundation. I would recommend reading kids series (there are some really good ones out there- Percy Jackson, 39 clues, Geronimo Stilton (pretty easy to read), and there are so many more out there). You can then move on to tween books, etc. I know this may seem like pretty shit advice if you just want to read something adult or whatever, but we all gotta start somewhere; and if you want to stop every minute to search up what a word means, then you gotta actually read something more at your level. As you start progressing, you will obviously be able to read harder things. A general rule of thumb to finding a book at your level, is by reading the first page of it. If you can’t understand anything or have to search up a variety of words to find out what’s going on, it’s too hard for you. If you can understand the general idea with probably not knowing the meaning of one or two words but can infer what it means, then it’s okay for you. As a final piece of advice, when struggling with the meaning of a word, I would first reread the sentence or last couple of sentences to get a general idea of what it could mean. After you guess the meaning, you can search it up to see what it means. It’s a stronger exercise to help you remember what a word means. Hopefully this helps :)

I didn't understand how it was poetry. Like, each line has different numbers of syllables so it doesn't flow nicely (I know this is not mandatory, but some poems with this format still have good flow that you can recite beautifully), and a lot of the poems are just two sentences. It was like reading a book of quotes.
