Jodi's last name is like pico de gallo. I've watched her funny video explaining how to pronounce her namea few times, and it's definitely worth googling. I have never read a Fredrick Backman book! I'm pretty sure that category is 0.01% of readers lol and apparently I'm the president of the club. No good reason, just haven't! For maximum impact, read The Frozen River in some good long chunks if you can (I know that's definitely not easy). I have high hopes for Funny Story, too! I'm hoping for fabulous lucky day when I might find Brendan Slocum's books at a used bookstore or library sale - I really want to read them but my library doesn't have them. So many on your list are sitting on my shelves waiting for me!

Can’t wait to see your thoughts on all these as you get through them all! The Beartown series is my favorite by Fredrik Backman, I’ve only read the first two but I care so much about the characters!! I’m pretty sure both of these are unpopular opinions…Between Shades of Gray is my least favorite Ruta Sepetys so far, and Out of the Easy is my favorite.

Britt-Marie was a 5 star for me! I heard Jodi Piccoult speak one time and the comment about pico is right. I haven’t heard her funny blurb about her name. Good five star list.

I just finished The Housemaid, it was good, but I found near the ending took longer to end then I wanted it to. Might of been my mood, who knows. I gave it 4 stars. I also read the Alice Network, I gave that 5 stars, that was very good.
