Well done as usual, Rachel! You've got a knack not only producing, but additionally your videos are well paced, and really engage the viewer. No fluff whatsoever - it's all great, valuable information. I'm not even an Abelton user (I'm a Cubase guy) and everything you've posted is valuable regardless of DAW. Thank you for this, and keep up the fantastic work!

I love your explanations of all the steps, with all those little gems of experience scattered throughout. I was amused to see revese echo in there, (very) long ago I used that when physically resplicing songs, using a couple of Revox A77 and a lot of tape. You physically mounted the tape upside down so your required fragment ran backwards :).
@MARxSx13 жыл бұрын
So cool seeing you use the FAST plugins, I love using the compressor and EQ for some quick sound shaping. I think they‘re really awesome 🙂 did not know there was a reverb as well, might have to check this one out. „I Wish You Well“ is such a banger, love it!!

Wow, what took me years to learn in production summed up in under 15mins. I especially liked the bit about reverse reverb in transitions. A trick I've used for years that really highlights the drops. Amazon vid again. I'm now 30% in on the Ableton corse (after years of using Logic).
