Would’ve been nice to have a story on black hair. It’s a big part of being African-American and African. Maybe in your next chapter? EDIT: I asked Great Big Story for a video that includes black hair and TED just dropped a Great-Big-Story-esque video on the afro pick and its role in the emergence of natural black hair in America. I’m happy, but GBS’s take would be wonderful :-) TED video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/e2eUZ6ean9ilkJI

I have so much respect for the beauticians who come to nursing homes and rehab facilities to do hair. It gives people dignity. I've seen people who are difficult due to dementia or other problems patiently sit and have their hair done. There is something so deep and personal about having your hair done . It's a wonderful thing.

I have example of power of hair! Our beautiful blonde cousin came to stay for year! She said she could swim, but being from S. Calif. She had only been in swimming pools, so when she just dove into Clackamas River, she was just taken down stream in a torrent of currents, underwater drowning! Crap! My dad an I dove in an swam down stream until we overtook her! We could see her but she still underwater. My dad puts on this burst of speed an reached her, but only by her hair! He pulled her whole body up from the depths, by her beautiful silky smooth blonde hair, when she regained her senses, she was Furious at dad for pulling her hair! Sandy, lite up our HS for that years visit, the blonde beauty from Southern California!

These stories tells us that truly the human hair is our CROWING GLORY. The second story reminds me of Ben Stiller's character in ZOHAN. I love the stories of the lives of the Older Ladies in the Retirement Community. Especially the first lady who said that she cannot stop the aging process, but she can remedy whatever she can. That really touched my heart. The HAIRY CATERPILLAR's Scientific Name should be "Donald Trumpus Hairus." ROTFL!

@thelittlesucculent83354 жыл бұрын
Ok how is this relevant? I am assuming you are referring to the correlation between getting your hair dyed and getting sick. It is not likely that getting your hair dyed would cause you to be sick due to the incubation period your probably had already had the bug before your even dyed your hair.
