Your text reader puts a long pause after each period, so maybe edit the stories to not have periods after "Dr"!

Thank you for your suggestion. I do not use any text reader, I read all of this myself. The pauses are just me drawing breath, any pause after "dr." would be purely coincidental. :) That said, it has been a while since I read these specific stories, so I hope I have improved with time and practice :)
