They gotta do something about the health properties being dependent on Kameos and just have everyone at 1000 or 1100. No other assist fighter has it where your health IS dependent on the Kameo you use lol

Thats the whole point. . Motaro turns you into a glass cannon. Teleport/reflect/multiple projectiles that combo. . .you can't have that and high HP.

Very underrated he kinda lives in the shadow of Shang Stung and Shao Khan bit as a villain arch type o perfer Quan being in the shadows as a manipulator playing both sides he reminds me of the xmen villain Mister Sinister my all time favorite comic villain

Big fan since mk9)You didn’t mention Lao’s tele allowing a combo of the Bone Dome. And Cyrax’s net also allows to set up the Bone Dome in front of them , so you can than use the business kick to push them into it, put out Cyrax (as a bomb) and than continue comboing into that. Have seen people do over 50% with it

Interesting stuff with cyrax. I bet you could actually make use of the bomb better than most characters when you have the armor portal up, due to the nature of it both: A - hitting both players and quan not having a hit reaction if hes armored. B - taking forever to setup but having armor for a period could let you get away with it. Maybe you could also get some nice corner damage off of the 2-1-3 mixup using the up-copter move or whatever.

You can definitely use a bomb set up with him, can't remember who posted it but it involves, net, bone cage then bomb

My personal favorite is scorpion: portal set ups, trap set ups. Quan has some crazy mix! You can over head start with his back 2, low start with the back 3, mix up his 1 3 launcher with 1 special cancel into the low tentacle, then of course his 2 1 3 and 2 1 4. And if you have scorpion you can combo off the 2 1 3. He’s definitely moving up the tier list with these buffs.

I usually choose kameos depending on who I think the main character would actually want as their partner. It's the reason why I use Khameleon with the Edenian ladies because it makes sense that she would ally with them. Or for a time I played Ashrah and Sareena because Ashrah's ladder ending had them both fighting side by side. My only exception to this rule was Shujnko because I just like him, but I know it's a pretty stupid reason for picking my partner but in the end, it works well.

I actually think a lot of Kameos are good with Quan! I was using Jax for a while, but I truly believe Kameleon is one of his best. I find that it helps me in the inevitable aggro poke battles toward the end of a round, because Kameleon can turn his unsafe pokes into full combos! I’ll die on this hill haha

You have to explore more with quan and sektor he’s definitely his best kameo he gets guaranteed cage combos and admire breaks on okie it’s actually crazy if you do some research into quan and sektor

@@shujinkydink he helps with zoning also you can use that ground cage more in zoning with sektor and make it guaranteed and the stun on it gives free portals he may not be his best but he’s up there it’s really good

Ya im the same way I just won't play a pairing thats not cool or funny gotta make sense goin together somehow. I do not see the fun or the point in just picking whatever will get me the easiest wins... I kinda just picked different pairings as my mains and just never change their kameos. Helps with the muscle memory and not have to remember so much switching between them.
