RESIN brake pads to that heavy motorcycle??? Significant loss of a braking eficiency after first stop. Resin bakes easily and creates slipery ceramic like surface which significantly reduces braking power. Use metal pads only. Or better (much better) install a motorcycle brake which is way more powerful than a mountain bike brake. Putting a mountan bike brake to a motorcycle wasn't the brightest idea...

It's because they feel the power of a motorcycle for the first time. They only get up to 45mph and now want more. I remember when I got my Ninja I had a blaste on the freeways doing around 60. To me 40mph is slow and I bet that's how they feel.

@@jacobclement7707 I'm a road biker, never heard of ceramic brake pads. But ceramic would just smoothen out when pressed against the brake rotor. If water gets in the way of two smooth braking surfaces, it is extremely detrimental to performance, which is why most brake pads are rougher. That being said I've heard of smooth brakes before on bikes, with chrome rims and apparently it's better, but only in the dry

Get disc brake locks. Thieves will still take it while alarm goes off. You can do a folding chain lock so you can lock it to something as well. Plus it's light and fits anywhere for storage.

Pro tip: the motion sensoing alarm should be hidden or hard to reach; if you place hand over it it becomes hard for even person next to hear, but it is very loud if speaker is not blocked

Resin brake pads are not an upgrade.. sinted metal (part metal part resin) or full ceramic pads is what you want) My current set of ceramic pads have so far lasted about 6 months

no on those breakpads, MTX Golds are the best aftermarket MTB pads, the MTX red were a huge improvement over semi met on my shimano XT 4 pistons, on my trail MTB

@@AdamEspositoYT magura's? Yeah those are pretty strong, just the levers suck on most lower models. MTX pads will still be an upgrade IMO.. remember lock up doesn't stop you safely, need a mix of modulation and power and then full grab can lock up

It def can. I don’t have plans right now for a battery swap or controller swap. HOWEVER I have found the cheapest power mod for the stock Ron that I bought that adds 800 watts of power. No need to bypass the battery or get a new controller.
