If you think that your car has an exhaust leak or a problem with the exhaust system, this video will help you to diagnose the problem and figure out a repair for it. With that being said, you should be looking for multiple symptoms appearing with each other. I wouldn't recommend going out and replacing the whole exhaust system as soon as you see one of these symptoms; but rather, these are indications that you should look into the condition of your exhaust system.

I appreciate the video brother. I had a lake in my exhaust. It turns out there was so much moisture it started to rote. I have an Infiniti G37x which is a smooth-sounding car. I notice my car sounding like it was tuned. I knew something was wrong. I was losing gas wasting money. I had the front exhaust Y replaced. You can't even tell if the car is on or not it's so quiet.

Help please !! My kawaski ninja 250r 09 keeps running fine then even so often it don't idle and when trying to give it any throttle the bike struggles to rev and on other situation it can get stuck at 6000rpm and stay there . I did recently have a nock on the side of the bike I don't know whether this would have caused any problems to it.. also I can get it going on the main road with some rev but will change gear up and go faster to like 40 mph but will only let you give it a little throttle and the middle of my exhaust i think exact where the cat is and glows bright red but no wear else on it

Ok I have a question?? Will the car stall out if it's the muffler? Bc I know something was wrong with the muffler bcuz if I was at a light or drive thru it got loud just only stopped so now I it's loud period plus it staled out so a muffler problem can make the car not run??

I needed to hear this, you named two symptoms that my car is doing. A metallic smell (could be a bad air filter) and noise. ( two different sounds) one is kind of high pitched idling, and the other is almost a low pitch grind periodically. Not the breaks, those were just changed. (could be under the hood) Hard to tell. It is due for some routine maintenance work, perhaps that will take care of some of it. I wonder if low lubes can cause noises. Great vid!

Gear 1 are Reverse gear are the parking gears for manual transmission. If you park a manual transmission in Neutral and something accidentally depresses your hand break or that the break suddenly disengages for any reason, your car may move and cause an accident.

I must confess you are made very good points without unnecessary showiness. In addition to what you said put two jack stands plus one jack when you are working under the car with removed wheel. One will save your life if two fails. It is only $20 more approximately to but second jack stand. Don't try to patch the hole in the muffler to save money. That is what I did and my car was just drinking gasoline like an elephant. You don't save money by patching the hole. You are actually wasting a lot of money to make blocked muffler work.

I brought a new 2021 chevy and only one exhaust is throwing out exhaust. The dealer is saying that the exhaust has a chunk of ice inside and its frozen . I have a Nissan rogue . When I bought the car it was so quiet you couldn't hear it running . Over the 3 years that I've had this car it has went from silent to slightly loud. Sounds like it's exhaust leak but I've had it to chew muffler shops and they said they couldn't find anything wrong. Can you give me an advice on what to check or have them check for? Also, when I go down the highway and I give it gas it sounds like it's a hot rod. I don't know if it's that loud on the outside but on the inside you can hear it shifting through all the gears. Help. I really miss the quiet.

Whelp I definitely have a weird smell when accelerating hard but can’t tell if it’s “exhaust” or the smell of burning oil. Been a min sense I smelt burning oil so it’s hard for me to tell the difference at the moment. But my exhaust didn’t just randomly get loud. But will have a constant sound then accelerate some and it will like and instead of the same sound getting louder as I go it like idk how to explain it other then sounds like my engine is having troubles pushing all the gas out so it builds up or it’s escaping out of a leak

Hello sir , On my 2010 Lexus es 350 I changed the air fuel sensor And on day 1 i drove it then at work got stranded come to find out I need a new battery . So I get a new battery for it and I'm on my way. But noticed ever since changing the air fuel sensor my car accelerate poorly and the back mufflers sound alot louder very noticeable when I hit the gas . so my exhaust has broken 3 times already at first two first times they were old parts so i kinda said it was maybe because of the parts being old but the third time i bought a new part which came with the flex pipe and the catalytic converter. First the flex pipe broke (the knitted part) , it got loose and i noticed i had a leak because it got really loud. Later on i heard a louder noise and a rattle and when i checked the part that connects to the headers broke so now its just blowing straight air out of the headers. I don t know if my engine is moving and its breaking the exhaust or something but im running out of ideas to fix it idk if i should go to a muffler shop or just get a new part. Anyone one know what I could do??

Did that price include parts? If it did, then it's an average price. Exhaust work is labor intensive and tough work sometimes. Cutting pipe, really rusted bolts, etc...👍😁
