Ah yes. North Strathfield tech college, wasn't it? Rotate the tap 1/4 turn (or 1/3 for a 3-flute tap?) then turn back until you hear the click..😁 Engine looks very pretty!

Looks great. Did u check the gudgeon pin small end clearance I’ve come across a few prob hi mileage ones with several thousandths clearance u can here them tapping when the engines idling

These Suzi shaft drives were renowned for being about the best in the business streets ahead of the Kwaka ones not sure bout the gold wings. Think the XS 1100 wasn’t up to Suzi std either a mate had 10000 reliable klicks on his 1000g behind. Mrs ….. Oh but I didn’t c u !! Did a u turn on him. He was ok bike not so much 😳
