I’m so grateful for your videos because I was able to labor without epidural and push my baby out in only 10minutes. I’ve been watching your videos throughout my pregnancy, and you always say that being on hands and knees is a very good position to push, and it lessens the pushing time. I did not understand that until I had experienced it myself. First of all, I made the decision to get an induction at 40weeks and 2days. They induced me with cytotec because I was 2cm. When I was ready to push, I asked my doctor if I could do it on all fours, and she said yes. So, I turned and 10 minutes later, my baby was out. I was so shocked and told myself that I will come back to your videos to share my experience and thank you for giving me all this knowledge that was very beneficial for my labor. I think it’s important to mention that this was my first pregnancy.

Im 5 weeks pregnant and I’ve never looked something up so much. I know it’s way to soon but I’m terrified to go through labor but I don’t want to be. I know my body can do this, we’re made for this! In super excited but anxious in not knowing what to do since this is also my first birthing experience. Your videos are amazing to watch. Love how you explain everything. I will continue watching them and this one exact to come back to and practice my birthing method.

I forgot to ask a question! I also plan on giving birth naturally if god allows me to but everyone around me has that constant response of “good luck with that” or “yeah sure” and I know I want to try. Did you receive an epidural by chance??
@awerkingmama7 ай бұрын
I totally understand how nervous you can be newly pregnant. ALLLL the information comes rushing in at once and the unhelpful comments from people just keep coming too. I prepared for my first birth with the help of Google and unhelpful people and it left me in a world of trauma (emergency c-section) so my second birth I went natural in a birthing center and my third birth was at home!!! My first step of advice is to ignore the negative people, get them out of your life as much as possible. Find the support you need. A partner, mother, doula, or anyone you are comfortable with to prepare with you. I have a virtual coaching course with a community of women to inspire and encourage you through pregnancy and birth. When you are a little further along, I would love for you to be a part of it and let me support you through this!

Yess, pushing contractions were like nothing else, you cannot miss those. I cannot imagine how profesionals do birth every day, but didn't understand that yet. My whole body was pushing, I was just belly contracting, couldn't hold smth like that.

This Video is so informative also saw your VBAC video and inspired. I am due in June 25th. My first baby will be 18 months when I will have another baby. I had first C section while baby was normal throughout the delivery, but my heart rates went up due to the epidural placed wrongly (5 cm deleted at home, baby was posterior, baby was at the same position at birth canal push for 2-3 hrs, had severe back pain during pushing.)I am trying for VBAC this time. I am 33 weeks now, having lots pain in my pelvic join, started pelvic PT and using the belly belt, improving little bit but not much. Sitting position makes pain worse. Really having anxious feeling this time. Please help me out for successful VBAC this time. Any guidance would be appreciated. Thank you ❤️

If you’re planning on having an epidural, will you still be able to feel when the baby drops and it’s time to push? Or will you loose all sensation down there from the epidural?
@awerkingmama7 ай бұрын
This is a very unique situation and it depends on the person. Some do feel when it's time to push and others don't. I have heard many women say they become immobile and lose all sensation.

I had epidural with my first and wanted a natural birth. I waited 48 whole hours before giving in to the epidural. I was 6 cm at that point. Once I reached 10, my doctor stopped giving any epidural so I could regain some feeling in my body. She said when it felt like I had to poop basically and my body tells me I’m ready, then I let them know and we began. Still pushed for 1.5 hrs but that was because the chord was wrapped around his neck and it was creating an issue. In all I pushed him out, no complications! I hope that helps! Also just learned we’re going to have another and I’m so glad I found this page! Maybe my 2nd can be natural like I want! ❤

I kid you not, waiting to poo has made a difference in my BMs. I’ve been taking the moment to practice my breathing and it just happens! TMI 😅 But I definitely recommend taking that time to practice patience and breathing!!

Good job, mama!!! This is amazing! So proud of you.
@beaurogan31217 ай бұрын
I’m not sure if holding your poop is good practice for everyone. When I do that it either makes me constipated (urge to poop leaves and makes it more difficult later) or I get bad bowel cramps. Maybe it’s different for other women but I thought I’d share that cause bowel cramps and constipation suck!
@awerkingmama7 ай бұрын
Oh gosh please don’t hold your 💩. That’s uncomfortable. The message is to not force it before it’s ready. When you feel the urge to let it out, that’s when you should go. A lot of women feel the urge to poop but know they could wait a little longer so it comes out easier.

I'm actually most scared of contraction pain because with 1 of my births it was unbearable at only 1-2 cm. I wouldn't have been able to handle it without the epidural. She had a big head and I was in pain the whole last trimester. Could barely walk

As long as the scars are healed and there was no major incision in the uterus, it should be safe to birth vaginally.
