As a fellow Irishman, can honestly say it was super cool to see you over there! They had a Really nice showroom, garage full of high end luxury cars, trucks, vans etc! the TR engine is removed and fitted on a frame, (back in the day at the dealer) This frame was essentially a trolley. The amount of used TR stuff makes this a good purchase specially as they are finally going/gone up in value, i worked with the guys that did the subframe for the black F40 . If you got tim at redcar restoration to do all of these for you, he's only up the road from you in Rockwall.. very cool find.

Unless you got them for next too nothing , that's a bad deal. He was vague about when the film was made, meaning he's had them for a while and was expecting to make quick profit, nobody wanted them. He was vague about the only running testarossa which has also been modified. Not one standard Testerossa there, but rebuilding the one with the bullet holes and driving it would be cool

Hey Richard. I think and have been thinking for years the Ferrari 400i is cool as hell. Beverly Hills car club has a warn out one for sale cheap cheap. If I had the means (time and cash) I would resto mod that thing with a modern Ferrari drivetrain. Just a saying. Also, More than happy to help you build/design it

I am in the process of building full carbon fiber testarossa body panels. I purchased a testarossa to completely disassemble and so we can accurately splash the body and produce perfect prepreg and infused panels. The prepreg panels will all be autoclave cured. I am also building carbon fiber intake manifolds and suspension arms. I am working on a full upgrade package for the testarossa with a billet crankshaft, forged rods and Pistons and a complete modern engine management system. With the engine modifications they should produce close to 600hp with a 10k redline.

Figuring out the shipping, taxes and cost to put them back together has to be tough.

Once you know the shipping and taxes, then all you have to do, is figure out what the cars will sell for maximum, when they have been restored, then you will have your number, of what you can pay max. My guess, is he would have offered between 200,000 and 250,000, max! Figure about 40 to 50k a car, for all five, a package deal.

My grandfather worked full time but always had a used car lot mostly muscle cars, his younger friend used car lot partner, a new car salesman sold Ford's for 2 different Ford dealership in 2 different county's. A real husler. Had a billboard on every corner of the county's. You could purchase anything from a minibike to a Cessna citation. From him. always bought something exotic do draw attention to him. And he spoiled me. Let me drive not alone but a Ferrari 308 like magnum pi but blue ,20 miles one night on the interstate hammer down!I was 15 no license. I ask why would you let me drive that car? He said I'd killed to drive a car like this as a kid. You'll never ever forget me as long as you live.hes been gone 20 yrs .I think about him every day. RIP Freddie a good dude.
