I clicked to see the Corvette, I really enjoyed watching you guys fix it up. That gold looks really good! I think, if I had that car, I would either do a LS swap or replace the crossfire with a 86-92 TPI setup and then fix up the interior. Hopefully someone buys that car who can really love and enjoy it!

I've seen that 55 driving on Sundays in Birmingham and Cullman my whole life, the guy who owned it was a really great guy. I think I may have even revved the motor at a Sunday car show once.

I had a 240Z and it was the best, most fun car I’ve ever had! My mom let my sister drive it while I was away in the Air Force and she wasn’t quite as careful as I was and she wrecked it ……….. twice! Second time was the death sentence and I miss it everyday!

Definitely a step mom... When he asked about the goldwing, the older lady said that was the only thing she offered the daughter after the daughter asked for the 55'. Don't know the whole story, the daughter could have been just someone looking for something to sell for big money, but if she really buys it from Richard the she has money and that's kinda sad that the older lady didn't work out a deal with her for it. I know if I go I'd hope my daughter's would want something like that of mine to hold onto....

Did you ever think that maybe mom needs the funds to pay her bills. The vehicle has value. Mom is the beneficiary. She owns it. If the daughter wanted it she should have offered a fair price. Mom has to eat and keep a roof over her head.

I have gone to the Gas Monkey Garage store, and I have a really cool shirt. I wish I could have met these guys. My brother arrived at our house in Fort Worth, and he came with me. It was a blast. I love the door handles, it was Gas Pump Handles. That was pretty cool. I drove a 240Z after I graduated high school. Man that car was fast. No 260Z or 280Z could keep up with me. When I put new tires the guy was all excited, he told me i had an early model. He said that my model was the Fastest Model. And he was right. I raced Chevy 350 equipped cars they could not pass me. It was a real fun car to drive. The Crossfire engines were not good at all. Chevy knew and stopped those engines pretty fast. Horrible engine.

The 84 Corvette was the Motor Trend Car of the Year. That gold color was always pretty. This is going to be collectible in a few years and would be a good buy for someone. There are some folks that rebuild those Crossfire intakes which will make the car run fine. We did not see much of the interior though so not sure what it is worth.

You’re right. 84 Vettes suck. The Crossfire fuel injection ruined them. I used to dust them with my carbureted 85 IROC Z, 5 speed. (Limited edition)
