I encourage you brothers.. to delve into the scriptures further on this issue. Something is off about this teaching. It sounds good but ultimately it's shrouded in our tradition more than the Bibles. This is what I suggest. 1. Read what the bible says about work. For both men and women and you will have perspective. 2. Understand How Christ Loved the Church. It's all about cleansing of sin. Not outward beauty. This isnt clothes or gyming.it's soul revival and reconnection to God. To Love like Christ is to point to God for true love is God and wants that channel open. In many a family the woman is the prayer warrior or lead. She is the one making sure the kids are off to Church or reading them the Bible. She is the one calling and instating God king in that house. While the man feels he puts money on the table. He is doing his duty. See how messed up that Is? It's a sad imagery of how we treat God. We just ask for things from him and don't cultivate a true relationship as That's how we treat our earthly father roles. That's not Biblical. Sorry. 2. Learn the power of 2 becoming one. Will refer you to Solomon.. I Love Myles but this is skewed. The devil is not a game.. he is brilliant at taking a truth... bending it just a little til it sends you down a wrong path..read for yourselves a lot about this topic and you will know what to pick of it that's true. And what's not. Be blessed friends

@@jeffthomas1720 there is a world view Of what relationships are like or should be like that seeped into this teaching. And that world view makes the man almost like a dominant relationship owner if I may relay it to you that way. God never made a woman incomplete for a man to complete. Where do we get that in the Bible? While it may stroke our ego to assume this is so... This is a belief from a world system that assumes men are better or superior in some way and this gives room to pride which has no place in Love And also devalues ever so slightly but significantly the power of the befitting helper. The Woman. Our duty is priesthood in a home first and foremost this is not preached much at all. Jobs and men being the leader in that sense is common place before priesthood. We make women sound like weak .. small dependants who we should grow rather than mighty in Christ beings that we can create homes and society with in many a world view. And while it sounds nice...This is not Bible truth but rather using bible words to justify ones own beliefs..i hope you get what am saying. There is truth in this teaching and there is formidable bent truth which makes for a lie too. It's important to go to your bible and read about relationships. Rather than get someone's interpretation that justifies their views.. that's how people get mislead. Just leaving you with a desire to really dig into this you will see what I mean.

No his teaching is not off he saying what you are saying just in a different way. A man should always stay in God's presence and in his word. The wisdom he gains from his presence and word he instills in his wife. Like becoming that prayer warrior and two becoming one. As he said to cultivate her.

Regrettably the church itself has corrupted the foundations of generations of men. The extreme holiness movement that influenced the church for generations (don’t get me wrong, holiness, properly understood, is foundational for a healthy Christian life) has so distorted and destroyed the notion of having a God given desire for purpose in their life. This happened to me. I’m 65 now. Divorced, no children, no career to reflect back on. The last 45 years of my life is ashes. When there was an inflection point in my life when I was young, to sincerely follow God, I followed Christ’s command to “lay down my life.” That meant, stopping my education, ceasing from any pursuit that was of a personal interest to me, everything. If it was a personal desire, for anything, including a woman, that had to be, “laid down.” How could Christ’s command mean anything except this? This decision effectively destroyed my life. I didn’t get married until I was 46. After 16 years, she left me. Her parting shot at me was, “You don’t have any passion.” Internally, all I could think was, “but that’s the point, that gets surrendered to God.” I’m still a Christian. I always will be. But so help me, the next time a minister begins talking about “laying down your life” I’m going to walk up to him and hit him so hard that his grandchildren will feel it. My question to him will be, as he’s laying on the floor, why don’t you explain exactly what that means, and what it doesn’t mean. Not once in my lifetime have I ever known of a pastor or teacher ever, ever unpack and explain these things. I’m not alone in this crisis. There are generations of Christian men who have had their lives destroyed because of this. They suffer in silence and confusion. Never becoming the man God put them on this earth to be. This is also why there is a crisis in the church regarding marriage. All the women gripe and complain, “where have all the good men gone?” They are right at your feet. Their hearts got ripped out of them when they were still children. The task ahead for the church is enormous and completely hidden. The “Church” is completely blind to this, yet they bear the responsibility for it. Now, the only thing that keeps me from being suicidal is the notion that it’s okay to have a personal passion for something, anything, in my life. But accepting that it is possible comes in fits and starts, almost like an epileptic seizure. Mentioning suicide, that is a hidden crisis in the Body of Christ today. Almost ignored among Church leadership globally. The majority of those who attempt suicide (and those who succeed to commit suicide) are men. Good men in crisis. Most are alone in life. The majority of these men have additionally been rejected by the women they are around. Go figure.

Hi Roger, I perfectly understand what you are saying. The wrong teachings from empty men of God have wrecked the lives of our young Christian brothers leaving them confused and as poor as a church rat. The good news is that no time is too late. Your story can be what God needs to touch other generations in that quagmire. I would really need to talk with you so we can discuss on setting up a platform where you can teach our young men based on your experiences. This is what we call Ikigai- combining your experience, passion, what the world need and what people are willing to pay for to create a source of livelihood. You help people while helping yourself too. You can start by writing a short book that will liberate many. Creating a youtube channel and other channels to reach out to the young men of these generation. Please get back to you. God can still change things through you. You only have to believe and act. Remain blessed

Makes women say, "Amen!" How? Preachers are always talking about what men should do for women, but almost no preacher speaks of what women should do for men. Although his intent was to talk about men, he only said one thing to the women: "Don't go to the bush, trying to bring a man to the presence of God."

As a South African woman I beg to differ. For years women have been raised to be wives. For years the 'burden' of carrying the marriage has been put squarely on womens shoulders. Women are constantly being told and taught how to be wives. Proverbs 31 is probably the scripture most used for this. Including the one in Ephesians that talks about submitting to your husband. What I love about this clip is that not only is Dr Myles Monroe teaching men how to be good husbands, he is teaching women what to look for in a husband.

Your "number 2, 3, and 4" are one, three tasks for the same job. The Bible does not says that a man was given the task to bring out the best of everything around him, it says that the man was tasked to cultivate and keep the Garden of Eden. Your interpretation went out of context. Of course it was tasked to the man, the woman was not created yet. Where did you take from that God created a man so he can create what he wants? A man has to get the raw materials to make a woman? Are you talking about a "female humanoid with artificial intelligence"? Humans are still working on it. Oh Jesus is a real man that want to marry many women. Do you know how is that called? Polygamy, an harem if you wish. I know it is metaphor. Wow, a real man wants to change everything he does not like about his partner, molding it as he pleases. How selfish! A real man has to respect how his partner is, if that partner is not compatible, then he has to move on. Do you know there are dolls that other people create out of raw material and can design it as a man pleases? You are describing a woman as a robot. Good job. His job was not to teach her the Word of God, but his instructions and orders. If a woman should ask a man what he thinks, why even bother to have a brain that she only need to use 1% of it? That is like saying a woman can't do things on their own without a man. Men teaches women, women does not teach other women, men does not teach other men. What?! The man was not tasked to cultivate the woman, she was created to be a suitable HELPER. That means that she has to work and cultivate the Garden of Eden too. Oh, Cecilia Payne, you where more intelligent than most men in your time. You even told everyone, specially men of science, they were wrong about the composition of stars. You instructed men, you gave them knowledge. They took about four years to swallow their pride and macho manhood to admit Cecilia was right. I am glad it was a woman who told the world YOU WERE WRONG. Like you said on 6:19, that are the 5 things YOU NEED before a woman. So change the title of the video.

Women follows the beasts more than Adam sorry only few women follows Adam let's face reality and stop beating around the bush that is not fair these days women won't settle for spiritual guy easily the pastor was afraid to tell women straight in their face that they must stop to be scared of spiritual men who take them to Christ or walk with them in the presence of God
