@@zeezeebo It has been overal great, no real problems. I did a video to show the wear and tear but overall its been great. I would get a GX if i could afford the gas price. It will use literlly twice as much gas on the road. so if i spent 3 K it would turn to over 6K on gas for example. It is out of my price range but i like how it looks like a "real" suv.

Michael Rafael I don’t know you could buy the L version with 3rd row seats but you can always leave them down flat to get more cargo spaces. It is a very nice SUV. So much quieter and better handling than the infinity QX60 I drove

I have a 2016 RAV4 and I'm looking for a third row . 2019 Highlander se or 2018 350L. Third row is for kids once a month. I also commute 800 miles one way every two weeks. So my back is a big consideration.

The analogue clock is a nod to class dear sir...All high-end manufacturers espouse this...Mercedes, Rolls, Bentley ..you name it. I guess its like there are digital watch aficionados, then there are gentlemanly types for whom only a mechanical time-piece will do...get it?

Lose the 3rd Row and keep the 4 inches. Use the chair test. If you can't fit a small to mid living room chair in the back, there's not enough height or width. If you can, it's a keeper.

Useless 3rd row...what a waste! Expensive too just to get 3rd row for...kids? Lexus just rushed this to tick the box to say they have a 3-row CUV to compete with MDX, XC90 and Q7. Behind the competition in terms of practicality and usability of 3rd row...if you really want the RX then the 350 2-row would've been fine.

I totally agree. I was so waiting for the 3row RX only to be thoroughly disappointed in the useless 3rd row. My 10yr old son had problems sitting back there. I moved over to the 3row QX60 Infiniti. It's not as refined as Lexus, but I can my entire Family in it very comfortably on the highway.

Tek z I disagree. 3rd row would come in handy when need to carry more people in a pinch. Such as dropping off or picking up people. Or we can put the kids in 3rd row and have 5 adults in 1st and 2nd rows. So many uses for 3rd row.

What a joke this lexus is, about the trunk space. With 3rd row down its only 23 cubic feet of space!!! My prius V with the rear seats in use, has 34.3 cubic feet of cargo space, but that goes up to 40.2 when you slide the seats forward. Fold them down, and you'll have 67.3 cubic feet of space.

If you don’t need a third row seats then you can exclude the RX350L. If you want a better mechanic and more solid engineering then you can exclude the RX450h. So I would say, out of all three the RX350 is your best bet.

Would have purchased the 450hL but u can’t tow with it.... can u believe it? Try ordering the tow package and u can’t from the factory. If the dealer installs one it voids your powertrain warranty. I went with the Highlander Limited Hybrid AWD Platinum package.....

can you slide the second row seats forward while there are car seats installed to be able to have access to sit in the third row? i currently have 2 car seats in my second row in my infiniti QX60 and am able to slide the seats forward to get into third row, its much easier that way.

Very odd choice not to extend the wheel base for a usable third row. As you can see, a family with four kids will quickly outgrow this vehicle. Might as well buy a bigger vehicle for similar price.

The third row is so small that it’s only usable for very small kids. I’d say an average 7 yr old would be too big/tall for that row. Lexus and those helping to market this vehicle make me laugh when they pretend 4 inches is enough for a usable 3rd Row.

I remember the hype surrounding this Lexus and when it came out it became a nothing vehicle. Nobody cared about it after the first review. the deciders override Lexus need to be fired. Forr example I went over to go look at the Lexus LC halo car which looks spectacular inside and out. The music came to a full stop once I realized there was only one cup holder in a touring car. So my wife and I want to go on a road trip and we have our drinks with us but there's only one couple. maybe I want to take a client out to breakfast or a cup of coffee.,... In $100, 000 touring car you lost your mind only put in one cup holder in there. it's that lack of focus and they made the same mistake twice which they did on the first rc car the following year they put in a two cup holders in that one. To make a mistake once in a $60, 000 car I get it. But to make the same mistake again in $100, 000 plus TOURING Halo car is unacceptable.

Drove one as a loaner. Poor driving dynamics, lower grade interior compared to previous generation RX (more plastic), ugly styling..... not impressed. Also drove the F-Sport version. Nothing more than a tighter suspension and limited interior color options.

I love my second generation RX, but this new version is *way* too ugly for me to even be seen in, never mind owning. I test drove it and like the feel for my needs, but it so looks awful. Whoever was responsible for this sabotaged design minimally needs to be fired IMO.

Agree. I have a 2009 Lexus RX which I bought specifically for two pillow like ride. I also like it's conservative looks. Whoever designed these new Lexus was watching way too many Japanese cartoons like Yu-Gi-Oh, Pikachu and decided to model the cars after their hairstyle. Let's blade everything!! My wife and I decided to pass on this current generation of RX. I don't want to end on a sour note but I will give a hat tip to Lexus for the LC. Although that one only comes with one cup holder. See a problem with that? Lol. Anyway, the designers did a wonderful job on it and should be commended.
