If you don't have the factory trailer break on the 2014+ there is a decent square hole on top of the 4WD and headlight knobs, that is perfect for a can on dip.

I have a '98 crew and love it. Probably the best platform from gm. Put front buckets in it and a console out of a 88-94 for the better cupholders, or a 99 denali yukon.

Alright, let's talk a bit about how to solve the cupholder problem... It's easy. Get front buckets and then add the 99-06 center console. You get 2 additional cupholders up front and then 2 for the back seats. Also, the flip down console/seatbacks are interchangeable front to back - ie, you can add more functionality to the back seat by swapping in a front seat flip down console. My truck has both of these and they work great. As for the 454 - You're right - They suck on fuel. Swap a Cummins in and problem solved.

6:50 yes! i had my brakes re-done so many times and they are still soft and i have to pump them on steep hills i have to stop on or when i am towing. I love the crew cab i have an extended cab myself! Why buy a new truck when my ol chevy can still run 85 on the freeway with the rest of em haulin cars and whatever else for much cheaper!

Drew Fisher it’s a 2000 3/4 ton CLASSIC model. That’s the difference, the OBS didn’t end in 98, only for the 1/2 tons.

I have that exact truck and the center consol in mine has three in it. Must be an option 🤷🏼‍♂️ one in the front there’s a cutout for cds and a cutout for a big and small cup. Also there’s a slide out tray for junk and two that pop out in the back. If you didn’t have the bench you would have more cup holders. Lol

The brakes will work better if they’re adjusted right. You adjust the drums by just a little bit of drag on the drums when spinning by hand.

Use google. Gmt400 gmt800 master cylinder. Only need one adapter for front line and it all bolts in. Takes 20 min tops.

It's a damn shame my Suburban K 2500 has cup holders everywhere I have two K 2500s I have the Detroit Diesel and the 454 the Detroit is surprisingly still going the old man who I bought it from said he had the motor bullet-proofed and I can believe them I turned up the Boost and I've been driving that way for about 4 years
