Looks like you are running a stock exhaust system, if that is the case the reason why your girls legs are getting hot is because of the catalytic converter in the 2016 touring bikes. Change out the head pipe to an aftermarket brand and that goes away and with the proper tune you will get a little more power.
@hijodelantorchanunya15724 жыл бұрын
Installing a full exhaust along with your heavy breather and a Thundermax tuner (Part # 309-562) will work wonders for the heat (including engine head and oil temperatures) and also smooth the idle to reduce vibration. The broader torque and power delivery will feel better too.

Hey Bro...just a word of advice to consider. You might want to check into getting a lower seat so your feet are flat on the ground when you stop. I have a buddy that had that issue of controlling his bike at stops because he was on the tip of his feet. He got a seat that allowed him to sit lower allowing him better control when was in a sitting position. Love the vids!! Cheers🍺

Thanks Devin for the honest comments about the cost to join the lifestyle. I have a 2000 Goldwing and a 2008 Yamaha Roadliner now, but giving serious consideration to the 2018-20 Street Glide. I’m 66 and I will be honest, after riding the Goldwing, it’s a much harder decision. Given the style of riding I enjoy, the 2018-20 Goldwing might just win out. Can you speak to the ongoing cost of maintenance with the SG? Thanks! PS": Dominique is a doll.
@thefather4144 жыл бұрын
I’ve had my 2017 SGS for 13 months now with no issues, no leaks. I’m not a Harley or else guy, and I can say for certain they are built to last. It’s my first Harley and I’m very impressed at how thick and solid all the metal parts are. It’s a tank. Heavy is great for me with my lower back issues. I like Japanese bikes too, they feel chintzy after riding the Harley. My buddy had a Honda for a minute, too many problems. Traded in on a Yamaha. Take care of anything and it’ll last.

Also, have you and your pops taken any over the road trips i.e. visiting another state? If not, take it into consideration. For your woman . The heat on the exhaust change out the headers. The stock headers have a Cadillac converter which makes the bike heat up a lot hotter.
