In my opinion on Motocross bikes, I have road both 6 speed CRF230F and 5 speed CRF450X. I would rather have a Wide Ratio 5 speed then a Close Ratio 6 Speed. Gears in a 6 speed are sooo short, that if your trying to go fast or long wheelies, you run outta gear so fast... and changing gears slows you down. And honesty there isn't a lot of top speed difference between 6 speeds and 5 speeds, my 230 topped out a 113 km/h and 450 topped at 145 km/h.

Get a couple of knobby supermoto tires. And change out your throttle cam to smooth out the twitchy throttle.

You should bring the supermoto to Orlando next year if you're still down south for the Florida motovlogger meet that way you can ride out with Dank and us at the end of the night. That's usually what goes down after everyone leaves Ace cafe.

@@dinsadovic9705 nope. I ended up buying 2016 Yamaha YZ450F. I ride it as a dirt bike and i change the oil around 10h. I cant find good SM wheeles for my bike in my area so am waiting for somting to come up. SM or not i will chqge the oil as the manual says mabuye i will add couple of more hours as am not riding the bike so hard. My manual says oil change every 7.5hour and i do it every 10. So far so good

@@dinsadovic9705 if you can buy the bike buying the oil not gonna be a problem. Depend how often you ride. I buy the oil from a frien and its a good price. 1l of oil with discount is around 6 euros. You know you also have to change the oil filter wich is around 2 euros bought from ebay or aliexpress. Dirtbikes a re racing machines then need a lot of care. Pisto every 100h. Fork rebuilds valve check and adjustment... but they are easy to work i do all the maintenace on my bike so i cant complain. If you can buy suzuki drz400 or yamaha wr250 go for it. they dont need so much care and they are good bikes. Hope this help

I had a crf450r 04-06 model and I have 2 say it would absolutely kill your crf450r it is slow as shit what's wrong with it or are the older bikes faster I literally had to have half my body over the handle bars to stop it from flipping would still lift tho and I'm 13 stone

Try a CRF450X. My 2005 CRF450X has an electric starter. So useful when you are riding off road.

I built a '12 KTM 500 EXC supermoto this summer. I definitely recommend it, the parts are plentiful and so's the power! Wheels are swappable between pretty much any older EXC model so it's easy to find a good used set. Fenders and plastics are everywhere, and suspension and triple clamps have a lot of options out there. I think the Husky would be the same story (I prefer the white anyways), but there weren't any used 501's in my area

Im from england man I rode motorcross my hole life had to get a 125 because of laws here, Ive had an xr125 since april, crashed it twice, maby thats cause Im a massive dick, but I wouldnt recomend getting a super nice bike for your first bike, get a supermoto or a small naked bike, fairings are expensive to replace.

@@endomobo359 thats the best thing about enduro bikes, if you fall you can just pick it up And ride away. Only disadvantage are the tires sometimes they hook like crazy (i scraped peg on my hq WRE 125) and sometimes you ride slowly on the road you know well and back tire slips. 😂
