Nice car. I owned an R34 25GT-Four for a while when I was a teenager. A sedan like yours but non-turbo and 4WD (but you could switch it to RWD if you wanted). Had soooo much torque, I remember swinging the rear out on highway on-ramps going up to 4th gear. Good times.

It's kinda funny since there's still people who think Skyline is sportcar, but since Skyline before V35 is for Japan Domestic market only then I'm not suprised Skyline is your usual range of sports sedans which appears in Sedan, Coupe (2-door sedan) and Wagon form with various choices on engines, from standart GTS, to GTT and highest trim is GT-R. Yes just like your usual 3-series and C-class with 320i and C200 as entry level and M3 and C63 as top range of engine choices That's why I think the main competitor for Nissan Skyline GT-R R34 coupe is not Toyota Supra or Honda NSX but BMW M3 coupe since both are similar In my opinion, thanks to huge boost of popularity of already famous R34 (but only to petrolhead) due to Fast Furious franchise, now Skyline GT-R is very well known to even non-car people. Maybe that's why Nissan decide to split Skyline from GT-R so they can make GT-R R35 as pure-bred dedicated sportcar rather based on mass-production coupe though without none to very little platform, engine, interior and parts sharing, it explain why brand new GT-R R35 is much more expensive than brand new Skyline GT-R R34 Skyline R34 was succeded by Nissan Skyline V35 (G35), V37 (G37) and latest is Q50 (Q60) thought it has no GT-R trim anymore

CAREFULLY hold a bar of soap so it rubs on the inside of the belt while the engine is running until the squeak goes away! (You will have to re-apply every few months but it will stop the squeak I used pliers to hold the soap.)

You can just use brand new universal PS/AC/Alt belts on your Skyline. Just get the exact lengths and tooth patterns and they'll work perfectly fine. I did that rather when I changed all the belts on my BNR32 rather than scour Japanese sources for the OEM ones.

You had complained about the belt was squealing the easy fix is talcum powder or baby powder or simply replace the belt with a genuine Nissan unit. Last chance is to get graphite powder but then you can get high wear on it so thats the best I can offer.

I just found this channel, and wanted to add a suggestion, I went ahead & subscribed because I like the content but i wanted to suggest that a newer version of the GT30 came all, it's their GTX line, if I'm correct it's a better compressor wheel, that allows spool to full boost quicker, as well as more power with lower psi. Another option if you're looking sub 500 hp is the EFR 6258, which both the GTX30 (not as quick spooling as the gtx28/efr6258) & especially the 6258 spool substantially fast, some people with good tunes I read were hitting peak boost by 3k on the efr, GTX30 I'm not as certain.

5 things i hate about my r34 gtt 1) its very loud inside with kakomoto racing 3.5 inch exhaust. (didnt do previous owner did it) 2) the studs that hold the turbo to the manifold seem to get loose even with lock tight applied 3) the wheels scrape the insides of the guards all the time as it came with 265 all round 4) there is a knocking noise from the rear back right coilover when going over bumps on the road. although its been checked and nobody can figure it out 5) the tires wear out on the inside at the front even with perfect camber and the car isnt lowered because of the larger wheels. Anyways thats the only things that come to mind with mine so far. Nice r34 but i rather mine being a coupe and all. :D

Look dude, I owned a total of 20 cars by now, some crappy, others nice. Two civics, a VW Golf, couple of FIATs, BMW 2002, Peugeot 406 Coupe, 4 Opels, Volvo 240s, a 740 and some Datsuns. They all just started without pushing the clutch pedal when in neutral. Maybe in Murica there is some safety switch that you have to push the clutch to start the car but in Europe you can definitly start the car without touching the clutch at all. Even when it's in gear, but then you're in for one hell of a ride.

I worked at an Opel/Chevy dealership in Europe (we get the shitty Chevy's like Aveo and Spark) and even the new models (post 2012) just started in neutral with both feet outside the car. Even the occasional C6 Corvette we got (which was the latest model at te time) could be started this way Didn't know this wasn't the case in the U.S. lol I thought where is this guy talking about, every car starts just fine in neutral?

I... Don't think this is a R34 but more of a ER34. They're 2 different things. ER34 is classified under the GT-T and GT which has the single turbo RB25DET while the R34 classified as the BNR34 which has the RB26DETT in it.

Sorry i hate to be negative, but that front bumper ruins the look of the entire car, the only way on the the gtt is a GTR or Nismo bumper. was also surprised the battery is located up front, as the R33's are behind the rear seats. I also noticed a strange cylinder shape thing running of the boost return. just past the bypass valve, any ideas what that is? I've recently blocked my bypass valve with a beer can and it sounds awesome but will probably return it to standard by the end of the week as i'm sure it cant be good for the engine/turbo, But thanks for the videos there good viewing
