Great POV. After driving / comparing GM, Toyota, and Ford offerings, Im going with a 2025 Ranger Lariat. It had the best ride, transmission, and interior refinement.

The Tacoma has no space in the back passenger area. This ranger has way more space That’s the definition of a small truck

Got a 24 Canyon AT4. I love that thing. Best looking truck. Plus i got the premium package. Leather, heated and cooled seats and heated steering wheel. So nice.

I have the same truck. #1 issue where is the pushbutton start? #2 agree with the steering wheel heater. Other than that love my truck!

Both of those features are included with the Lariat trim level.

My biggest gripe with touch screens regardless of brand is it is difficult to touch the correct place sometimes while driving, especially when the road is rough. If anything, Ford could have made the screen slightly smaller and made all of the AC controls manual just below it. Personally, I really wish the auto industry would just go back to all manual climate controls and not run of it thru the screen. While the display is cool, they just don't operate as well as old school controls. Screen controls seem to cause issues with the blend doors and overall function of the climate system.

I had the 2019 Ranger and loved it but except the transmission. It shifted strangely, even shuddering if you tried to maintain 25-30 MPH. When new it was primarily when it was cold. As I got more miles and past the warranty, it got worse even after it reached temperature. I traded it for a Tacoma. Something I thought I would never do but it was the second Ford in my household with costly Transmission issues. Sad because I really wanted to stay with Ford.

@@LebronPhoto1 interesting I’ve heard horror stories about every truck I’ve owned an never experienced anything crazy besides a transmission issue with a used 2018 Chevy Silverado. But I’ll probably be trading the Ranger in a 1yr to 1.5yr
