If you like knowing the history of Buell Motorcycles, you should check out the Erik Buell interview on the Motorcycles and Misfits podcast. I can't remember the episode number right off hand.

The CR was awesome. And when Harley booted Buell they were giving them away

It's a fun unique bike for sure. I have an '05 xb12scg. The vibration is probably the only negative i have about it. Otherwise, it's just a fun torque monster to ride

Absolutely. I want to install a damper on mine and see how much of a difference it makes.

Upgrade that exhaust to a drummer and flash your ECU. Makes a world of difference. (05 XB12scg, 04 XB12R)

I’m glad I came across this video, after your previous one…..I was ready to fistfight you 😂. Buell is such a great and unique bike.

Haha. All bikes have their goods and bads. The Buell is definitely more good and yah very unique

Good Work! Have you decided on a steering dampener yet.

Not yet just riding it rn. Maybe during winter I’ll see. I’ll make a video on it when I do it

Have you ridden the 1125r or cr?i would love to have one of each Buell that was produced😂
@navscycles4 ай бұрын
not yet. The 1125R is a bike I actually want to buy sooner than later, I think they during right now and going into the next year will be really good buys.

@@navscyclesI’ve owned pretty much every model of Buell they ever made. Originally got into Buells because my club is American made bikes only, and they were okay with me riding an “American sport bike” so I bought one and never looked back. I really love the shit out of them

Just would like to comment that Erik Buell isn't doing Erik Buell Racing. After Harley shut them down Erik went out on his own and did EBR. Then they went under and were liquidated. Buell has been revived with the same bike as developed by Erik during EBR. However Erik has no involvement currently with Buell. His new company is FUELL. Great video btw.

Ah my bad I had thought he was associated with the new ones. Clearly I haven’t followed him that closely in recent years. Thanks for the correction.

LOL I see all I need to see...... one front rotor with a generic caliper......... no wonder nobody I know has one......everything else is most likely subpar too
@navscycles7 ай бұрын
Shows what you know. Perimeter brakes lower unsprung mass and are actually just as good as a dual disk.
@stevegraham23446 ай бұрын
😂 It's actually lighter than a dual disk, also it's a 6piston caliper on a huge disk. Therefore gives just as good breaking but with less weight
