Hey man! I wanted to say that I came here from your blog. As a fellow Ontarian, I thought that the SEO landscape is so volatile nowadays and that a KZbin channel would align better with my interests - so I thought doing this would be better since I'm actually going to stick with it. That said, love what you've done here. You clearly know how to develop a following, so I'm really hoping you'll make more content! You have earned a subscriber.

Should have my 06 Night Train in a couple of days. I've wanted extended forks on a bike for awhile and 4" overs will do me just fine. Thanks for posting mate 👍

Picked up a 2008 NT with EFI , not crazy about fuel injection besides it starting right up! Only mods done were changing out the stock risers and adding 8 inches with the stock cables that didnt need changing out. Other modification was lowering the rear end 2 inches and a home made solo seat, no padding , thats right no padding and its still comfortable on long rides. Instead of changing the stock pipes ive knocked out the baffle plates to give it a better sound and no popping . Beautiful bikes and has been reliable, my only complaint is having to put her to sleep for a few months of winter in montreal , oh well .

Have an option to get a 2001 night train. Looking at videos of the bike to help me make the decision. Thanks for your take on them! Plus I also have a jacked up Jeep Grand Cherokee limited 4x4 sitting on 33’s. Is it destiny? I think so!!

Sad news. I didn’t have it long. Traded the night train and a sportster for a 2016 wide glide. Had it for a year and now I have a 2019 street glide.

Lol correction 06 Heads lol and will have a complete Screaming Eagle 6Speed case and all installed soon! As soon as the case is powder coated . And then I’m thinking about putting a brand new 19 wheel with duel rotors that came out a FXDR, I just haven’t decided yet, depends on how it going to look. I doubled my Horsepower, so with the 6speed I’ll go faster at lower rpm’s and stop better with the new front wheel

Hey, I’m 5’10 and found the forward controls on my 06 along w the stock 6” risers to be a bit too much of a reach but it depends on what kind of style you’re looking for… I put 9” pullback risers on along w the Harley “Reach” seat and found it to be PERFECT. Also, I do believe my foot controls were extended an inch or two by the previous owner so the stock foot controls may not be too bad but if they are, the seat is an excellent option. 👍🏼

I’ve got an 08 night train with 2” drop rear. Same as you in height, with no problems with reach. It’s a comfortable riding position, especially with heel rest pegs

They're 8" risers from Drag Specialties. 5'6 shouldn't be a problem, you could always lower it like mine to make it more comfortable
