21 mpg is in mixed driving, with some longer distance runs. My commute is quite hilly and on country roads which does not lend itself to efficient driving. On a run I can get 34 mpg no problem 👌

@@Oldbugger64 As mentioned in the video, I was fully aware of shortcomings such as the fuel economy and size when I went into buying the car. I extensively researched my purchase, and was expecting poor fuel economy and slightly difficult manoeuvrability. It is possible to absolutely love owning a car despite it having some shortcomings - there is no such thing as a perfect vehicle. 😅

If the fuel quality is poor and your driving is mainly stop-start city traffic, I wouldn't recommend the TDV8.

Mines a 3.6 TDV8 6spd and I get 38 mpg average. So you must have a very heavy right foot 😂
