Nice real world breakdown and some good points to look for as many reviews only offer a glance into a car, not a long term understanding of it. Also, such a brave thing to do this in trousers made entirely of body paint. 👏 Must've been chilly out there.

I started to watch this because like Range Rovers not because I want to hear about politics or about how butt hurt someone is about our non-existent departure from the EU as if we've not heard enough from both sides over the last 8 fecking years. Good honest review. I love my 2010 4.4 TDV8. Cost me a fortune this month with brakes all round, tyres all round and wheels refurbed 😂 people think we’re crazy but they just don’t understand what it’s like until they’ve owned a L322. If your wanting rid of the private plate I’d buy it off you?
@BuckleUpShow
@BuckleUpShow Жыл бұрын
Yes, I suspect my brake bill will be significantly higher for this even if I do change them myself! It's definitely the best all-round car I've bought I think 😁 While I wouldn't buy a private plate, there is something refreshingly timeless about having one fitted to an L322, so I will probably just leave it on the car - especially as it ties in to the car's spec! It's the ones that are like G666 GAZ that I really dislike 🤣

Hey, just got yourself a new subscriber and the reason, your L322. Now I sold mine 3 year ago, reason for selling was my wife found out the MPG of it (I tried to keep it a secret but it got let out of the bag🤷) Mine was returning 27 around town and 36 on a very soft peddle M way run (3.6 V8 D) but who is in a rush? I really do miss my RR, the ride, the comfort, the smell and yes the problems it pulled out of the bag at any time it felt like it. When I sold it, it didn’t have anything wrong with it, but having a firm hand shake with the new owner and words of wisdom, don’t ring me if it goes wrong anytime soon. But that is the exiting bit, just like owning a Fiat, you have one and it’s not going to get you home 😂 To be fair mine never left me stranded and I did drive it through some atrocious weather many times across the A66. Anyway good luck with your channel and I will be looking out for more content on your RR 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Thank you so much for the lovely comment! Glad you have happy memories of your time with your L322. Unfortunately, I have since sold this car and gone back to something a little more sporty. We do have a couple of other videos of this specific car on the channel, as well as reviews of a newer L405 RR and the L320 RR Sport, so have a look out for those! 😊

Interesting presentation young fella (I am so much older sad to say). Bit miffed about removing the Union Jack, it looked very small anyway. I guess most people in the UK realize it is a British car, but it has worldwide status and a little Flag denoting its heritage is just fine, as MANY foreign countries would dearly love to present it as 'theirs' - but cannot!

Gammonny 🤣 Those things are actually useful if you want (are allowed?) to travel into Europe, means you don't have to get a separate sticker. I don't know if you've still got the car, but it's worth watching Harry's Garage videos on the L322. He swaps the 19-inch wheels for 20-inch, and then fits the all-season tyres from the current series Range Rover. Those can even get you through snow (although possibly not a 120cm snow storm).
@BuckleUpShow
@BuckleUpShow Жыл бұрын
You do still need a sticker if it says ‘GB’ on the plate, which these ones did. Also if you go to Spain you need a sticker no matter what now. Isn’t Brexit fun!

Swapping to a bigger rim is worse for off road applications. Reducing the rim size and increasing the size of the tire, offers greater surface area when tyre pressure is lowered off road.

I forget how much cheaper these are to repair in GB compared to here in the states. Very few shops will touch these cars and the ones that do charge a ton for it. To replace an air spring here in Texas is about $1,500. When I owned a Disco 2, I had to call nearly 20 mechanics before I found one who would touch it and even then he said he can't promise he will repair it but he would look at it.

@BuckleUpShow yeah I've looked at those type of pick ups including the ford ranger. But they all seem to be underpowered. Our trailer is 9 meters long and we have 2 cars on the back. So I worry about a smaller engine pulling that weight constantly. I'd be much happier with a bigger power output like RR v8 diesel because its not under any stress at all even at full capacity. You also find better economy because your not braying the life out if it.

@@BuckleUpShow yes, which just goes to show that you’re just a brainwashed halfwit. I watch L322 videos on here, as I still believe that they were the last true Range Rover made. I loved the review, but the presentation style makes you sound so fed up with it. There were too many pauses during the presentation. Trying to be a Top Gear presenter when you really don't need to be. For the age of the car it's beautiful, I'd remove the side steps, they don't look tidy. Thank you though for a real world review 😊

While I wouldn't buy a private plate for myself, I will be leaving this one on the car as it does tie in to the car's spec and looks quite timeless. Even though I don't particularly like private plates, I will confess that an L322 looks good with one on!

$288 pounds! your kidding me! your having a laugh.......I'm in Australia and the same job is over $1000 AUD a side plus labour So your looking at 650+ GBP a side......are your parts and labour just cheap in the UK? A nut and bolt for a Range Rover in Australia is $50!...........I personally have spent over $22000 AUD on my L320 in the past 6 years.....Rejoice my friend at the truly staggeringly low cost of repairs where you live. Come live here in the great southern land and feel the pain and cost of Range Rover ownership, you shall cry often and have to take out a second mortgage on your house. And that's not just early models even the later models are the same. 2017 L494 out of warranty costs a fortune to repair..........Don't worry, be UK happy and remember your driving the best model RR ever built. The MK3 L322.....Cheers from the land down under, where woman glow and men plunder, can't you hear, can't you hear the thunder!
