Just remember that you are still blessed to be given the chance to see the things that you used to see. I've been blind since birth but I'm still thankful that God makes me see the world in a different way. :)

I can not even imagine the struggles you must have encountered in your journey and yet you are so positive. You really put life into perspective of what’s important, versus what is convenient. Well great job in not letting life get you down and being positive and don’t worry about your makeup, your smile is the best makeup you could have. .. good luck sa kinabukasan mo..!!!!!!

Is it retinal detachment due to prematurity? My boyfriend lost his sight when he was 20 years old. He's 30 now so he has been able to adjust for 10 years. He's not totally blind, he still has light perception and can identify certain bright colors. He's now a successful ESL teacher. I hope you continue to make more videos. I love watching how positive and amazing you are.

Hello friend! I am also what we called an ex-sighted. Like you, I also missed those days when I can see everything around me. However, I realized that if missing those things will only make me feel sad, I would choose to face the present and do all the things that I can do. Though we will never forget such moments, we can say that we are lucky enough, or much better if we say that we are blessed enough, to see the world with our eyes before. The good thing is, we are not that helpless and limited today because of the things that we can do; just like what you are doing right now. Remember this, "Everything in this world is temporal, and so, it has its own end. But just like the Lord said that He will make all things new; and the pain, sorrow, injustice, and all the negativity which afflicts humankind will vanish in His presence on His Second Coming. God bless, stay strong, and keep safe..

I have heard that when one sense goes down the others go up, so there are always positives to every negative.

Aww wow just wow thank you so much for sharing this video and sharing your thoughts about our and so many others condition. I was a loner most of my adult life and I too would go on long walks or hikes through the woods. I absolutely loved nature all animals as well especially Birds Felines and canines. I have a pair of Timberlands original colour, black and white Adidas and red black Adidas that are low cops, I always wear jeans but wear jogging pants inside my apartment, I love hockey soccer basketball and baseball, I have and white England, yellow and royal blue Sweden, white shirt with black red and yellow Germany, black shirt with very thin white lines like a barcode going up and down on it Germany, a black and dark yellow Germany looks like a bumblebee, a blue white and black Chelsea, and Ireland with white and green stripes going around the shirt soccer jerseys they are all mixed Nike and Adidas, also have a Toronto Maple Leafs John Tavares jersey and a Toronto Blue Jays Jersey that is the red one for Canada's day the Toronto Blue Jays jerseys are blue and white. I also have a leather motorcycle vest with angel wings on the back it is the original leather motorcycle vest that Daryl Dixon wears from The Walking Dead. I have other nice things as well but all of those are my pride and possessions and I do my best to look good as well. I wear jewellery but not at the moment but if I was I would wear earrings necklaces and always wanted to get my eyebrow pierced. I agree with you miss as well but unfortunately when it comes to my parents I do not miss their faces however I do miss their voices. I am going to really love this channel hahaha.

I would like to know as I am a low vision person myself would you recommend visiting the Philippines for a blind person?

The Philippines is a really beautiful country. Even though we don't have a lot of accessibility services, we have amazing people who would be happy to help you around.

I miss my families friends neighbors classmates and teachers' faces too. I personally don't miss reading with my eyes it's too much strain and their tired very easily and quickly I don't remember colors so I guess I don't miss them I only see red white and black so yeah😅 I miss nature too😢 I have O&M Training so I’m able to go to some places because I’ve memorized the routes with sighted family and friends before all the COVID-19 came and if I do go out I’m COVID safe as possible 😷😎 so yeah. Do you have an O&M instructor/ Teacher? O&M means Orientation and Mobility if you didn't already know that😅 Not trying to sound mean, Sending love from the USA❤️☺️-Lilly👩🏻🦯🕶
