I was able to get to wt3 at level 35 as a barb I just tempered damage to close on everything and a little hp

Omake dungeon, I picked the hardest also and got blown up before I killed the boss, in fact, it was the first Death I had this season, glad it wasn't hardcore. I love tempering my stuff, it makes the game so much quicker.

I wish i knew how much fun frozen orb/lightning spear was before leveling to 100 with an Incinerate/Hydra build.

The transfer wouldn't be too bad. Just hunt down the uniques needed for either one and then switch when you track them down. You'll be crazy powerful quick.

Lightning Spear is pretty tough to play while leveling, unless you get lucky enough to get some godly drops. Cooldown is very important for that build, so that's one potential stumbling block. Not saying that it can't be done, but for the average player at least, it's a build that won't really come online until you're level 75-80, and you have good gear. The amulet is a must (as in the build doesn't work without it) but Esu's is pretty damn important too, for the Crit Chance it gives you.

Should you reroll affixes when leveling? Or just tempered ?

Just temper. The affixes don't do much early and are definitely not worth the time or materials. I don't even think it's worth it when playing alt characters.

lol, I burnt all my money testing out builds so i never had enough to level and if I did I would just spend it. It is becoming really crucial now and I'll have to spend the money 🙂

Well it only upgrades the insta heal to 4k max the hpot is 35% regardless so its about the same if you have high hp last season 90 potion was only like 1200hp

General question, what's the best way to build up resistances? I had trouble over lvl 100 last season and would like to plan this time around, already at 55 and gonna grind again today. Thanks!

It's different for different builds but the top places are... 1. the natural resistances that roll on jewelry 2. wherever you can get extra without taking you too far off path on your paragon board 3. gems placed in your jewelry 4. In the base affixes rolled on your gear and 5. lastly on your gear tempers. I would generally try to solve it in that order if I can.

I have a few questions.... How do people get to level 100 so fast? What's the best way to find people to play with? All people do is the "look" emote then teleport lol

There is a lot of things. number one minimize ton in time. Always be killing. Learn to use tempers to get early power and look into leveling guides. There is more and if you want a more detailed check my leveling video i did a couple of months ago, still valid. Other than I would do infernal hordes for endgame leveling over helltides. The best way to find people is to join an active guild and ask in the guild chat if anybody wants to group up on whatever you are doing. "hey does anybody want to run lvl 20 NMDs?" If the guild is truly active that should be enough. if not try another guild.

Fight dense areas like Helltides or NM dungeons and fight things higher level than you. You get extra experience because they removed the cap for killing 10+ levels higher than your character. I was in WT3 at 33 and WT4 at 57.

I'm new to Diablo 4, my question is do I delete my season 4 characters or save them and all their gear?

You can just forget about them, every season you need to create a new seasonal character and start over.

If you are going to play eternal realm than stashing the items you really want most might be worth it, but if you are only planning on running seasonal characters you can completely ignore them. Sometimes, I'll save the uber uniques to mess with in eternal but other than that I just let every get deleted and don't think about it.

I found out that it only shows the ones you unlocked last season and you also have to be playing in season 5 for it to come up.

It has to be a mythic. I only say that because when you see your previous seasonal characters, depending on what gear you got. If you got good gear you will see some of it purple. Why is it purple and that's the reason right there? That's the only reason why there. I believe that purple that light purple, not the dark purple but the light purple cache is a mythic ❤❤❤❤

It is much better in the season. I would recommend just following the new questline which is a solid story and you don't have to worry about leveling to endgame if you don't want to.

Yeah, i think it starts with some low level ones in the codex but you have find them and added them to the codex for this season.

Most in the hardcore race did, but that is a race. They were actually going pre 30, which would feel rough in HC.

My whole guild is hc only. As soon as you log in there is guys who will do both capstones and get you to 55 immediately, so then we can get geared up and help others do the same then push into harder content with 4 of us. It's hilarious when someone dies, cause 10 minutes later their back to 60.

No more early game upgrading. They massively increased the legendary drop and moved upgrading to masterworking and made it an endgame function, so you'll do it in wt4. Focus on getting better and better gear (especially a 2-handed weapon) and then when you unlock tempers, when you do temper your 2-handed weapon with the temper that has a lucky hit chance to add elemental damage (it's the elemental surge temper). That should make you pretty strong no matter your class.

That is a great question. The only info I have is what's in game "Earn Favor by killing monsters, completing quests and completing objectives in the Season Journey" So, I would guess the blitzing the season journey if probably a good place to start. I would also guess that you get a lot more for quests/objectives than you do for just monster kill and any where you can stack quests and objectives. Basically, I would look for the helltide areas that have whispers and do every event you see, while opening helltide chests, completing whisper activities ...and killing everything in sight 😉

Tempering as it is, it´s a bug, but they decided to leave them so people who hasn´t used it won´t be left behind. And I didn´t know about the level cap, ha ha ha, I was figthing 110 monsters at level 80, what a waste. Good to know this have changed.

Hate to be that person but that purple color in the chest is for the resplendent spark. Since it is used to craft mythic items, it is also one and has the same glow. (Just so you don’t ruin your game just rushing to get it only to be utterly disappointed when you open it)

If you are in season, it should show up when you get to the level that the temper quest shows up and you have to open that chest by the blacksmith in Kyovashad.

temper did not carry over that's made up bullshit I just made a new character and I had every temper available last season for every class start a new character in season five you have to collect them all again because I am currently doing that myself this guy seems to be talking out of his ass just like half the people in his comments

It is working for most people. Even Blizzard acknowledged the error and said they were leaving it for the season. I have no idea why you don’t.
