Defintely I would suggest the restaurant at Hotel Wailea! The food is fabulous and the view spectacular. Here is the link: www.hotelwailea.com/dining/the-restaurant/

I am relocating to Maui July 2024. I am nervously excited. I wanted to know how do I bring my real estate license to Hawaii ? Is Texas license accepted in Hawaii?
@LiveinMauiHawaii5 ай бұрын
You have to get licensed in Hawaii. I like the CE Shop for the licensing classes and then you will need to schedule for the local exam. You will just need to do the Hawaii specific test - you can skip the national part. I suggest that you call the Maui Association of Realtors to schedule the test. Then get ahold of me and I will introduce you to our Coldwell Banker sales team. Its a fabulous group of people.

Congratulations and welcome to Maui! You will need to get a Hawaii license, but fortunately since you already have a license in another state, you will just need to test for the Hawaii specific portion of the exam. I would be delighted to help you buy your place in paradise and we can work out a referral fee. Its a Buyers market right now with many choices. Coldwell Banker is the largest brokerage on Maui and sometimes we have pocket listings that just CB agents see. If you need excellent representation, get in touch! I look forward to it. Aloha.

Very little! This is what I miss from a big european or south american city..but you are trading shows and blitz for clean air, ocean, sun, beach, tropical fruit, outdoorsy lifestyle. Works for me!

Do you feel sugar cane should not be grown anywhere? Or just in someone else’s backyard?
@LiveinMauiHawaii25 күн бұрын
Sugar cane is yummy and you can grow a few stalks in the back yard. Not profitable to produce large scale here on Maui and that is why a few years ago, operations stopped.

#1 thing not to do if you move to Maui, Do not say, That's not how they do it on the mainland.

Honestly, that comes down to be situational

Most people form stereotypes about Hawaii based on _Hollywood:_ Elvis, Hawaii 5-O, Magnum PI, Baywatch, Hawaii 6-O. KZbin bloggers are way more informative --- and entertaining.

Some milk in Hawaii has added sugar, I’ve never seen this before, does not sound good.
@LiveinMauiHawaii9 ай бұрын
I had no idea! I always try to buy milk that is not ultra-pasteurized and this kind does not have added sugar. Thanks for you comments! Aloha

Yes, I know...some milk does. Reading labels is a must nowadays!
