I do clinical massage, and I have a lot of clients who have accessibility needs, and require mobility aids. How can I tailor these questions to a clinical massage environment, so that I can best communicate things like where to place belongings, or how I'd like them to position themselves on my table when I leave the room, etc. I have never had a client who was blind, but it's reasonable to assume I may some day. I would like to provide the best care I can, and that means being mindful that everyone has very different needs.

Thank you very much for your question, this is very insightful, and inclusive. When it comes to setting things up, attempt to have as little clutter/obstacles in the room that someone who may not be able to see may stumble over. When describing where to put belongings, you can use descriptive words to tell them where shelves/hooks/etc are for their belongings. When discussing the table, describe it to tem, and allow them to feel where it is while you are there. People who struggle with vision often have great spacial reasoning (or at least I do), so remembering where the table is is helpful. Description is key in all things. Thank you so much for your question.
