Fun fact: for at least ten years, the Geography students at Auckland uni went to Hastings for their third year research assignments 😂

@@haztrology just a smallish city, so easier/more contained to study. And ok driving distance from Auckland, cheap accommodation etc. Everyone chooses their own topic to study. Hastings probably has hundreds of mini research assignments on it from third year geography students, spanning 10 years. Would be kind of interesting to corroborate them all. (They go to northland now)

Ma mate I live here In hastings and man it's been grate shopping here this Christmas heaps of the freshest fruit bit dear here but hae we survive. Love our home peaceful at times and also full of crazy people haha but proud to be from here.. but in saying this I'm sure we could get a lot more malls and better shit lol bit fkn boring if you ask me hehe. But I grew up here my babies have and we still are shitting grateness in hastings lol. Merry fkn Christmas new zealand and the world.

Hello brother , I am from India. I hold a INZ Work visa . My husband is studying Masters in EIT Napier. We are struggling to get a house in Hastings, Napier. Due to which I am unable to travel there . We are having a 8yrs old kid. We applied in trademe and tried all possible ways to find out the house. But none worked out.
